LOGINCHAPTER 4: YES WE FUCKING
ANNA’S POV “Annaaa—” Ella’s voice sang from down the hallway. I jumped like I’d been caught stealing, my eyes darted to the paper on my lap, the two lines that could destroy my entire life. Heart hammering, I folded it quickly and dropped to my knees, shoving the paper deep under Ella’s bed, right beside old shoeboxes and forgotten clothes. Please don’t ever find this, I'll come to get you soon. I stared at the paper one last time before finally sliding it in deeper. I was barely back on my feet when Ella bounced into the room with two cold bottles of water. “Here,” she tossed one to me. “Did you finish your list? Let me see how wild you actually are.” My knees almost gave up on me and I swear I could have died from high BP or a heart attack “Umm… I’m still thinking,” I muttered, forcing a smile. She shrugged. “Come on, let’s go downstairs. My mom said we could use the living room and William's is waiting downstairs" My stomach did a weird flip. I followed her down the stairs, legs still a little shaky. The moment we entered the living room, the twist in my gut got worse. William was sitting on the big couch like he owned the place, legs spread wide, one arm resting along the back and for the first time in forever I noticed a tattoo on his right hand. Ella immediately dropped beside him and curled into his side. “Babe, Anna’s helping me with homework. You don’t mind, right?” “Nah, I’m good,” he said, but his eyes flicked to me for a second longer than normal or maybe I was imagining it. I definitely was imagining things. I sat on the single chair across from them and tried to focus on Ella’s biology notes. It was impossible. Every time she laughed at something William whispered in her ear, every time his hand rested on her thigh, that familiar bitterness crawled under my skin. This is why you wrote that list, idiot. Almost an hour passed by while I kept pretending to explain mitosis while secretly throwing side eye at the way William’ fingers traced lazy circles on Ella’s leg. My throat felt tight and I couldn't hear myself. Suddenly Ella sat up straighter. “Oh! I completely forgot to tell you.” She turned to me with bright eyes and leaned in closer, lowering her voice “I’m throwing a party this Friday. My parents are traveling for the weekend, so the house is ours. It’s going to be insane music, pool, drinks, everything you could think of” She grinned and nudged William. “Right, babe?” He nodded, smirking. “Yeah. It’s gonna be wild.” Ella leaned forward, resting her chin on her hands. “You have to come, Anna. No excuses this time. You’ve never even been to a proper party before. This is senior year! You can’t keep hiding in your room with your books and your… whatever.” My cheeks warmed. She made it sound like I was some pathetic little nun. “I don’t know…” I started. “Pleaseee,” she dragged the word, giving me her best puppy eyes. “It’ll be fun. You can even bring that new energy from your Victor dream. Who knows? Maybe you’ll finally cross something off your bucket list.” William’ eyebrows rose slightly, but he stayed quiet. Ella didn’t wait for my answer. She reached over and squeezed my hand. “You’re coming. That’s final. I’ll even help you pick an outfit. Something hot that screams A-N-N-A.” I swallowed hard. The thought of going to my first real party with loud music, drunk people, and William being there made me just want to hug her and jump with one leg “Okay,” I said softly. “I’ll come.” Ella squealed and hugged me. William just watched me with that unreadable look again, the corner of his mouth slightly lifted. As Ella started listing all the people she was inviting, my mind kept drifting back to the folded paper hidden under her bed upstairs. “Um babe…can I use your bathroom” My eyes flew open. “Maybe you should use the one downstairs,” I blurted out before I could stop myself. “It’s… umm… better.” Both of them turned to look at me. Ella gave me a weird, suspicious frown. “It’s fine, Anna,” she said slowly. “He can use the one in my room.” My breathing turned shaky as I watched William head up the stairs. The second he disappeared from view, I started counting backwards in my head like an idiot, just to stop myself from chewing my finger nails off. Seventy three… seventy four… seventy five… “Babe! Looks like you’re out of toilet paper!” William called as he walked down the stairs I slapped a hand over my mouth and sank back into the couch, heart hammering against my ribs. Phew. He came back down a few minutes later like nothing happened and I spent the rest of the evening forcing smiles, helping clear dishes with Ella and her mom, and trying not to look guilty. When Mrs. Henderson finally offered me a ride home, I almost cried with relief and William had already left. “Thank you so much, Mrs. Henderson.” I slammed the car door and waved at Ella through the window. “I’ll text you!” The moment I stepped into my own house, I kicked the door shut, sprinted upstairs, and collapsed face first onto my bed. My shoes flew off and I grabbed my phone, trying to distract myself. Assignment…check. Help plan Ella’s party… check. I stared at the ceiling for too long. My heart started drumming again, faster and faster. What the heck was I missing? “ Oh my God, the bucket list!”CHAPTER 33: ABORT THE BABY ELLA'S POV My hands wouldn't stop shaking.I stared at the pregnancy test lying on my bed like it was some kind of cruel joke. Two pink lines. Two stupid pink lines that had completely destroyed my life."No..." I whispered. The word sounded weak, pathetic and helpless.I picked up the test again, hoping somehow it would change. Hoping I had imagined it, hoping maybe I didn't read it clearly. But the lines were still there. My chest tightened."No, no, no, no..."Tears blurred my vision. This couldn't be happening. Not now.Not when William wanted nothing to do with me, not when everything in my life was already falling apart.A sob escaped my throat.I dropped onto the edge of my bed and buried my face in my hands. What was I supposed to do?Tell my parents?Tell the father?Keep it?Get rid of it?Every option felt impossible.I felt trapped.Completely trapped. After several minutes of crying, I grabbed my phone with trembling fingers and typed the only
CHAPTER 32: I KNOW YOUR SECRET ANNA'S POV “Anna?”The voice sliced through the heavy silence like a knife. My heart slammed against my ribs so hard I felt it in my teeth. Without thinking, I whipped the pregnancy test behind my back, the plastic edge digging into my palm as I clutched it like a guilty secret. It was Ella’s mom.She stood in the doorway, her head tilted with gentle concern, one hand resting on the frame. The familiar scent of her lavender laundry detergent drifted into the bathroom, mixing with the sharp, chemical tang of spilled lotions and Ella’s fruity shampoo. “Anna, sweetie? I thought I heard something fall. Do you need water or anything while you wait? Ella should be back soon, she’s been coming home late, lately.” Her voice was soft, almost too kind. It made my stomach twist.I forced a bright, fake smile that strained my cheeks, the kind I’d perfected when I needed to manipulate my way out of trouble. My pulse roared in my ears. “Oh, no thank you, Mrs. Hende
CHAPTER 31: GOSSIP OR GET PREGNANTANNA'S POV“Anna, are you okay?” Piper’s voice cut through the parking lot as she and Whitney sprinted toward me, their heels clicking loudly against the pavement. Before I could even process what was happening, they grabbed me. Piper seized my left arm, Whitney my right, and they physically dragged me toward the side of the building like I was a prize they’d just won.“Oh my God, spill,” Piper said, talking over Whitney who was already blurting out her own questions. They didn’t even wait for me to answer if I was okay. Their eyes were wide and hungry.“Finally, the mask is off!” Piper grinned, already glancing down at her phone, thumb scrolling rapidly. “What did she admit? Was she crying? I need details before the group chat explodes.” She glanced at her phone again, then back at me. “Some bitches just don’t know when to give up.”Whitney leaned in so close I could smell her vanilla perfume. “Be honest, is William still fucking her? The group chat
CHAPTER 30: I MISS YOU BUT I HATE YOU.ELLA'S POVI stammered without even realising “I-I….” I don't owe her any explanation, she doesn't need to know. Not like she ever cared or she was ever here for me. It's always been all about her and nothing I tell her would change that.“i don't care what you think, just get the fuck out of my life for crying out loud” I turned around and realised the whole school was looking at us, at me. I was about to cry and I felt the tears building up but I just couldn't, I couldn't let them see me broken, I couldn't let them know they've broken me.I got into my car, slammed the door hard and drove away. I looked backwards for the last time through the side mirror and saw Anna still standing there alone and confused.Maybe she really wanted to be here for me, maybe —-I wiped the tears on my cheeks hard. If she really wanted to be there for me, she would. She had every opportunity to be with me, but instead she ditched me for the hive girl.I forgive
CHAPTER 29 : SURPRISE BITCH ANNA’S POV The moment I heard her voice, my entire body locked up.I turned so fast I almost dropped the phone.“E-Ella…” My voice came out way smaller than I intended. “I—I’m so sorry, I didn’t know it was yours. I was just— it was on the counter and it kept vibrating and I thought—” My words tangled together, messy and breathless She didn’t even let me finish, thank God.She took two quick steps in front of me and her hand shot out and snatched the phone from mine.“Don’t touch my things,” she said flatly. My mouth opened again, but nothing came out.She grabbed her bag off the counter, shoved the phone inside, and finally looked at me with the same unreadable expression. For a second, I thought she might say something else, anything else but she didn’t.She just turned and walked out of the bathroom like I wasn’t even there. The door clicked shut behind her and I stood there completely frozen, my hands still half raised like I was mid-apology.“…Okay
CHAPTER 28 : AMBER’S PREGNANT?ANNA’S POV I didn’t pick it up.Anyone could’ve dropped it. Literally anyone. The way people were sleeping with each other in this school lately was insane. One day I wouldn’t be surprised if I walked into the hallway and saw condom everywhere actually, no, never mind. I certainly would be surprised.I shoved the thought away, nudged the packet across the floor with the tip of my shoe far, far away from my locker, opened the metal door, grabbed my chemistry textbook, and practically sprinted down the hall.I didn’t look at it or bother to read it. I just left there because it could literally be for anyone right? At least that’s what I told myself. But later during math, I couldn't process anything, I literally kept thinking about it over and over again.Amber followed me to my locker. She'd been acting differently lately though more unpredictable like she was looking for a reason to explode at someone, especially Ella and maybe, just maybe, something

CHAPTER 6: I'M A WHORE, SORRYANNA'S POV I rubbed my eyes until they stung, desperately clinging to the hope that this was still a nightmare. Any second now, I’d wake up safe in my bed, and none of this would have happened.I dragged myself upright, heart hammering. “Ten… nine… I’ll wake up soon.”
CHAPTER 2: HI SEXY STRANGER ANNA’S POV I’m not popular and it’s pretty obvious every single day.Ella is the only real friend I have, and right now she’s pressed up against William like she’s trying to melt into him. They’ve been together since middle school. I remember freshman year , how bad
