Chapter 50

Morvienne tilted her head slightly, matching him instinctively, as the sweet, electric press of their lips, the heat, the closeness, made her knees feel weaker than ever and her heart pound.

The kiss deepened again and he nipped gently at her lower lip, causing her to let out a sharp gasp while her hands moved to his shoulder, excitement rushing through her.

The kiss grew more heated, Kael's lips and tongues teasing and moving with a rhythm that made it hard for her to breathe, and he wouldn't even give her a break. Finally, she pushed him back softly, trying to catch her breath. "Alpha..." she whispered, voice trembling with laughter and surprise. But Kael wanted more. He leaned in again, pecking her lips, then her nose, then her cheeks, and finally along her neck.

"Alpha," Morvienne giggled uncontrollably each time he found a new spot.

"Alpha Kael!" she squeaked, her hands brushing against his chest as she tried to hold him off but ended up failing anyway.
