KATHERINE'S POINT OF VIEW

“Jordan!” I stood by the doorway, my hands clasped together. He raised his head from his desk and turned towards me, his lips pursed together.

I glared at him for a few seconds, my eyes flickering incessantly, before I eventually spoke up.

“You didn't eat anything. Are you upset with me?” His silence and the look on his face further reinforced my thoughts. I was emotional, and it took a whole lot to keep myself composed.

He rose to his feet and walked up to me, wrapping his hand around my waist. “Of course not. Why would I be upset with you? You've done nothing wrong, and even if you do, I can't possibly be upset with my own baby.”

His voice was soft and melted my heart. I blushed, fiddling with my hands. “Why then did you refuse to eat the food I made for you? I made it with so much love, only for it to be abandoned by you.”

“Come on! I wasn't upset with you, and I certainly didn't mean to do tha

JORDAN'S POINT OF VIEW I paused on my food, my eyes fixed on him. He seemed quite smitten and I was curious to know what he had to say. His silence only made things worse and I could barely keep my anger in check.“Are you going to speak up or keep acting like some moron?” I yelled, banging my hand against the table. He shuddered a bit, parted his lips and began to speak, “A soldier who had accompanied Miss Laura and her sister back to their pack had suddenly returned.”I hissed, pissed that he had created a scene for something as trivial as that. “Is that all you have to say?”“No sir. That's not all sir,” he shook his head vehemently, still smitten. “Damn it! Go on and spill it already.” I swear, I could strangle him at that moment if care wasn't taken.“He returned, utterly beaten and shaken.” I frowned,”Beaten? Did something happen?*“That's right sir. They were attacked by some rogues and the rest of the men

  • THE ALPHA KING OMEGA MATE    CHAPTER 92

Katherine Point of View As I sprawled out on the bed, staring at my handsome husband, who was fast asleep, I couldn't help but consider myself lucky. He wasn't just handsome; he was kind and the perfect definition of a man. Gosh, I could remain in that position for a decade while I do nothing but stare at him. He was that gorgeous. He turned a bit, and his eyes flew open. He smiled, stretching a bit. “Why are you staring at me so much? You're relishing the fact that you have a man as handsome as I am, right?” I rolled my eyes, dissatisfied that he was entirely right, and I couldn't deny it. I hit him gently on the shoulder. “Who told you that you're handsome?” I scoffed and tried to get out of bed. He pulled me back and made me fall on him. I could feel his heart beating fast against his chest. There was no doubt it was beating for me alone. “You don't need to deny it. You have just one job; admit that I am handsome.”“

Jordan's point of view I stood still, my hand tightening around Katherine's. I was waiting and watching as well. Just one person daring enough to oppose our union was all I needed. He would give thanks for the rest of his life when I'm done with him, if he were alive by then. There was silence. Thick, deafening silence. No one was willing to speak. Did they know what I planned on doing? Nah! There was no way that was possible. Maybe there was no opposition. Anyway, they should count themselves lucky for not standing up. “Priest, since there is no opposition from anyone, you may go on with the rites.” I was grinning from ear to ear as I spoke. “I'm against this union.” A voice rang from behind us, sending ripples down my spine. I was shocked to the marrow and couldn't believe my ears. I turned my head and was shocked to the marrow. “You?” I whispered, my blood boiling in anger. The opposition walked through the li

Katherine's Point of View. Happiness.. It trickled through me without reins. I stood behind the curtain blinds, peering into the open. The palace was busy with people going and coming. Preparation was in full gear, and none had time for anything else. It was finally the day—the day I'd be married to Jordan. The feeling was euphoric and gave me goosebumps. I will no longer be referred to as a low cast. I would be called the wife of Alpha Jordan, and not only that, I would be the Luna of that great pack. I could barely contain my excitement. Time was ticking slowly, and it irked me. “Are you sure it's going to go well?” I turned away from the window and stood, facing the room. Where such thoughts came from, I had no idea. The sounds of feet moving through the room played on and stopped abruptly. “Hey! What are you talking about? You shouldn't have such thoughts running through your mind. Everything is going to go fi

LAURA'S POINT OF VIEW I wasn't sure if I was to be happy, sad or just feel usual. Finding someone who shared the same resentment as myself wasn't something I had thought possible. Sadness still clouded me but I still feel much better than the prevent nothing. Leo wasn't bad as well. Against my wish, I found myself enjoying every bit of him. Speaking of it left me uncomfortable so I'd better not. The way he claimed me as his own left me gasping for breath. It's been hours since then and it's been minutes since we spoke by the window. “You should freshen up already. I'll have the bath made ready for you.” His eyes were fierce as he spoke and there seemed not to be an iota of emotion in him. He was dead gorgeous though, or perhaps, it was the look he had on, that made him appear cool. I couldn't tell, and I wasn't interested as well. “I'll appreciate that. Th
