OLIVIA’S P.O.V
I was bored in the mansion and that was not good because the only thing that I could think of is all the food that I wanted to eat. Luckily the chef that helped me to prepare my pasta kept it a secret but I am afraid that if I keep on asking her to prepare this dish and that dish then she might eventually get annoyed and tell Cariso. I needed something to occupy myself with and discovering the secrets which are hidden so well in these walls are more than enough to keep me occupied for the whole day.
Putting on a pair of socks to keep the sound of my feet light, I snuck out of my room once again. Casually going into the kitchen for a glass of water, I made a mental note of where all of the servants were and what they were doing. Knowing well that the coast is clear and that none of them will be going to the second storey of the house anytime soon, I made my way up to the passage where the granite table was.
I pushed with all my strength and t
AUSTIN’S P.O.V“My loyal men, I am so proud of each and every one of you, you all fought extremely well. I am proud to be your Alpha. We had three days to rest and mourn the death of my beloved brother, but tonight we are going back to Stermyer to claim what is ours” I said proudly and my pack cheered with joy.……The time has come and I walked proudly from the forest back into Stermyer. Those who stayed behind hung their head in shame, I guess they really thought that I surrendered and didn’t expect to see my return.Just like how he took me by surprise, I too knocked on the door of Stermyertina when he least expected it. A few minutes after I knocked, my father opened the door. I loved the look on his face as if he had just saw a ghost, all the blood drained leaving him looking pale. “Austin? Wha-What are you doing here?” he asked. “I’m here because I am the Alpha of Stermyer…I think t
AUSTIN’S P.O.VWe stayed at Cariso’s house, well more like Olivia’s house since it actually belonged to her grandfather before Cariso came and snatched it from him. It’s been three days since we won the battle but I feel like I’ve lost because my brother is dead and my mate hasn’t regained consciousness as yet. We sent a message to the woman and children who left my pack with me and stayed behind in the forest while we fought, asking them to come here and join us,and now the house is full of people.I have been damping Olivia’s forehead with water, keeping her cool when I noticed that her finger twitched. “Olivia?” I called out softly and she groaned. ‘She is waking up!!!’ I thought to myself excitedly. I haven’t really worked out what to say to her as yet, I had enough time but I could not think of the right words. I should apologize for keeping my true identity a secret or not completely acceptin
AUSTIN’S P.O.VWe went to Cariso’s house, however, it was quiet in the front. “Seems like no one is here,” Keith said. “Where could they have gone?” I asked. “Maybe they somehow found out that we are coming tonight so they made a run for it” Keith suggested. “Yeah maybe…they couldn’t have gone far. If we leave now then we might find them on time” I said, walking away. “Wait, Austin! Don’t you hear that?” Keith stopped by. Listening carefully, I heard the growling. “It sounds like there is a fight somewhere,” I said, looking at Keith. “Let’s go check it out,” he said and we followed the noise…It led to the back of the house, near the Garden area. I crept in first, behind me was Keith and behind him were our men. “What’s happening?” Keith whispered.“It’s Olivia, she’s in danger!” I said to Keith
OLIVIA’S P.O.VWearing a pure white dress, I was escorted outside in chains. Six guards walked with me, two behind, two beside and two in front. There where people standing on either side, forming a guard of honour as I was taken towards a stone table, they were dressed in red robes and I assume that they are all Cariso’s pack members. Upon hearing the beating of the drums, fear gripped my heart but I did not flinch, I could feel the vibration of the steady fierce rhythm on the ground that I walked on. I held my head up high, as I tried to put up a brave front but on the inside all I wanted to do was run. However I knew that there was no one to help me right now and if I made a move then I would only be dragged back here, squealing and showing weakness, I wasn’t going to let myself be embarrassed like that…if I had to die tonight I would die full of pride!!! After all I, I still remember who I am, I am the granddaughter of an alpha! I am the daughter
OLIVIA’S P.O.VToday is the day that I was born, normally it was celebrated every year without fail. The year that my mum died, my dad threw me the biggest celebration with a firework display that could be seen throughout New York, he said that my mum would be watching from above and she would be very disappointed if he didn’t do anything special but deep down I knew that he was just doing it so I don’t miss her on my special day. However this is the year when that tradition breaks. My dad is no longer with me to throw a big grand ball and today might just be the day that I take my last breath like I took my first 22 years ago. My heart breaks most for the poor baby that I am carrying inside me, my baby wouldn’t even get to take his first breath or see the world. I know that he has life, I can feel him moving inside me and kicking every now and then…he deserves to live! He deserves a chance! Unfortunately I am not in any position to make
AUSTIN’S P.O.V“What’s bothering you?” my mother asked, watching as I just played around with my dinner instead of eating it. “Oh nothing, I’m just not very hungry,” I said. “Would you kindly excuse me?” I put my fork down and woke up from my chair. “No Austin! You are my son and I know that something is bothering you. Now you can choose to be stubborn and keep it to yourself or you can share your troubles with your brother and me, relieving yourself a bit. But remember if you choose the former rather than the latter, you wouldn’t be the only one not having dinner tonight but both you and I would be going to sleep on an empty stomach. So you choose Austin…” she said sternly, I chuckled a little seeing how she was treating me like a little child once again. “Mum please” I pleaded with her to leave me alone. “Don’t ‘mum please’ me, just tell me what’s wrong&r
