MasukZainah unknowingly closed her eyes as she savored the scent that was filling her nostrils. When her eyes opened, the naughty smile that lingered on Alpha Zay’s eyes caught her off guard.
"Ahmm, you are welcome to compete, Alpha Zay," she said, her voice regaining its composure. "But I must ask, where do you really hail from? Where is the Bloodbath Pack?"
Alpha Zay paused, his gaze unwavering. "My origins are not important, Princess. What matters is what I can offer you."
"And what is that?" Zainah challenged him, intrigued by his mysterious reply.
"I offer you truth," he said, his voice resonating with sincerity. "I offer you freedom. I offer you a chance to be yourself, without the weight of your Primordial Blood."
Zainah’s heart skipped a beat. His words struck a chord within her, a longing she had kept hidden for so long. Could this be the Alpha who saw beyond her Gizli Princess status, who could recognize the woman she really is?
"Those are bold claims, Alpha Zay," she said, her eyes searching his masked face. "How do you intend to prove them?"
"I intend to show you, Princess," he replied, a hint of a smile in his voice. "I intend to show you what it means to be truly free." He slightly bowed after he spoke.
Thereafter, Alpha Zay turned and disappeared into the crowd, leaving Zainah standing alone, her mind racing with possibilities. The courtship competition had just taken a turn she hadn’t expected, and for the first time in a long time, she felt a flicker of hope. Maybe, just maybe, she could find more than just a groom. Maybe she could find someone who truly understood her, someone who could set her free and love her as she is.
The spectators dispersed when the Master of the Ceremony announced the candidate Alphas' presentation. Princess Zainah headed back to her room, with her mind still focused on the eleventh Alpha contending to claim her hand in marriage.
She walked toward her full-length mirror and asked her wolf to show itself on it. Zanai abides, and its white feathery, big wolf frame reflected on the mirror in an instant.
“Tell me Zanai, is Alpha Zay our mate? I could feel something, and his scent is familiar,” she whispered as if not daring anyone to hear what she said.
Zanai smiled mysteriously. “I know something, but I won’t tell you right now. I spoke with Alpha Zay’s wolf while you were there, closing your eyes, inhaling his scent,” playfully, Zanai answered.
Princess Zainah frowned. “Zanai, I am ordering you to tell me the truth right now!” she commanded her wolf, but the latter just batted its eyes, and its reflection on the mirror suddenly disappeared.
Pissed, Zainah jumped onto her bed and sprawled her legs recklessly, as if by doing so, she could release her outburst of emotion against her wolf.

Meanwhile, in the Alpha King Palace, the eleven Alphas are brought to each of their rooms. Their rooms are on the fifth floor, or the top floor, adjacent to the rooftop’s drinking hall. It is where the palace’s officials do their routine social drinking and bonding.
Alpha Zay chose the first room near the staircase. The room was strategically located for easy access to the other floors of the palace.
As the night came, the Alphas decided to gather on the rooftop bar. They had beers while they started to play cards for fun.
“We are only ten Alphas here, who is missing?” suddenly, one of the Alphas noticed.
Each of the Alphas looked at each other, wondering who was missing.
“The masked Alpha is not here,” Alpha Senon said, chuckling.
A few of the Alphas chuckled too and shook their heads.
Alpha Darius spoke with an air of irritation. “That masked Alpha seems to want to steal the show always. Did you hear from what pack he came from?”
“Bloodbath Pack. I only hear about that pack now,” another Alpha interjected. His tone was with doubt.
“Neither have I heard about that pack,” the simultaneous replies of the other Alphas. They all seemed to grow curious or maybe doubtful of the identity of the eleventh Alpha who suddenly joined them in the Courtship Competition.
“Can we demand that he remove his mask for transparency reasons?” Alpha Caeruz of Moonshine Pack suggested. In his aura reflected a cunning plan.
“Yes, yes. What if he has a distorted face? It would be unfair for the Gizli Princess if, in the end, he were to win and be chosen as her groom. Remember, the main purpose of having this Courtship Competition is to find the most suitable groom for the Gizli Princess, someone who could sire her with children from the best breed to create and continue the Primordial Wolf generation.” It was Alpha Darius who had spoken.
“Then let us convince the Alpha King tomorrow to uncover the face of that 11th Alpha,” the majority of the Alphas seconded.
Then Alpha Zay’s gaze swept across the field, lingering on each fruit before he finally spoke, “The grape fruit.”Murmurs rippled through the crowd, each hinting at doubt about whether he could hit it. The grape is the smallest, and they knew how difficult it could be to hit from such a distance that the 11th Alpha is standing.Alpha Cloud snorted from the side, crossing his arms over his chest. "Is this a joke? He chooses a tiny grape just to act humble? One gust of wind and his arrow will fly straight into the dirt."Alpha Caerus nodded in agreement, leaning toward Alpha Cloud. "Let him embarrass himself. If he misses, his score will be zero, no matter what silly speech he gives."Alpha Zay paid no attention to their murmurs of insults. He could clearly hear them considering his strong sense of hearing, but ignoring them is the best thing to do. “Let them be surprised after”, he thought with a bit of a naughty smirk. He positioned his bow and arrow, drew back the string, and closed
Alpha Zay freezes for a moment. He cannot reveal himself. At least not now.His identity should be kept while the competition is ongoing. He glances at Odious. “Mr. Odious, may I request to seek the Alpha King’s approval for me to continue to wear my mask while the competition is ongoing? I have this inferiority complex that I might not be able to focus on the competition if I have to bare my whole self to everyone now.”He then looked at Zainah and bowed a bit. “Princess, I respectfully decline your request and that of the other Alphas. It would not be fair for me if I could not focus on this competition.”Zainah held his gaze, her eyes searching for something within. She saw a hint of vulnerability in his gaze, a glimpse of a plea hidden beneath his brave bearing.“Then please seek the Alpha King’s stand on this matter, Mr. Odious. I cannot decide on this.”Alpha Zay was able to release a breath of relief. His identity is something that he could not divulge at this moment. He has a
The air fizzles with anticipation. The courtship competition continues, and the grounds of the Gizli Princess’s castle are buzzed with the energy of many excited spectators – or, more accurately, excited wolves in their human forms. Each alpha, each contender for the hand of Zainah, sought to outshine the others, displaying strength, intelligence, and charm in equal measure. But as the day rose, the majority of the spectators were chanting a name. They were chanting the name of the 11th Alpha - Alpha Zay. He captured their hearts, and Zainah could not deny that her eyes were focused on the 11th Alpha. He moves with a fluid grace, his dark brown hair falling across his brow as he scan the surrounding. His eyes, as bluish as the deep ocean, hold a depth that seems to see through the soul of those who met his gaze. Zainah watches from her room’s balcony, with curiosity and apprehension swirling within her. She witnessed the unmatched power, wit, and charm of the 11th Alpha, and these

Suddenly, the hushes and murmurs come to a halt when the lead guard of the Alpha King announces his arrival. The arrival of the Alpha King drew Zainah’s attention. His every stride into the hall is marked by an aura of command; his elegant and strong presence leaves the spectators around mute, their eyes fixed in awe.The Alpha Kin, who just recently inherit his throne from his old father, is hard to see lingering around. He is young, maybe in his early twenties, with piercing eyes and a regal bearing. Zainah felt a strange pull towards him, an inexplicable connection that made her breath catch in her throat. A scent akin to a mixture of citrus and wood penetrates her nostrils. “Such a unique scent”, she thought. As the Alpha King’s gaze landed on her, Zainah felt a jolt of electricity surge through her veins. His eyes widen almost imperceptibly, then her forehead furrows. She could sense his surprise at first and then maybe … confusion? The air around them seems to crackle with un
Zainah, the chosen Gizli Princess of the North Turks Pack, stands tall in front of the mirror. She is beautiful in her white gown, dotted with colorful Swarovski pieces around, carefully fitting her slim curves. They glitters as she moves. Her saintly and innocent-looking face, paired with her fair complexion and smooth skin without any trace of scars, made her stand out from the rest of the she-wolves in their pack. She smiled with a hint of mystery. There are so many secrets within her. Whoever would see her might judge that she is just a beautiful, weak princess and nothing more, but voila, beneath that innocent facade lies a strong, wise, and calculating young woman that anyone should fear. Today is the first time that she will be seeing the world outside of her mini-castle. After eighteen years of being hidden within the walls of this mini-castle, finally, she will be out to experience her freedom.Suddenly, the Gizli Princess’s forehead crinkled. “Would I really have my freedom
