XAVIER’S POV

Anna was a curse on my life. I thought I had gone over the feeling of missing her but ever since I set my eyes on her, the days became longer and the nights colder.

Forgetting her became a plague and hating her like I used to be a luxury I could no longer afford. My wolf had surrendered to her a long time ago and even though I was hurt, I couldn’t bring myself to hate her.

She had hurt me. She had humiliated me, but I couldn’t change the way my heart felt.

I sat on my bed with my eyes reading the ceilings, thinking of a way I could undo the way my wolf felt towards her. My mind was already swimming on a string her love carried me upon, and I was exiting normal existence until a knock echoed on my door.

I jerked back to reality and was glad at the door. As if my orbs could control it, it opened and it was Edna all dressed up in her fighting uniform, which was a black jumpsuit that hugged every muscular part of her.

For someone who doesn't even want to listen to his mate's explanation, yet he listens patiently to another woman attentively and believe in every thing she said. Xavier gotta be the first wolf male in the whole universe who won't be affected by mate bond at all

Debfo, i am guessing eventually xavier will know the truth on why anna rejected him. But this will take a long time from how the story span into another island. It's going to be a long wait but i hope the wait is worthwhile and both xavier and anna will have a heartwarming reunion

Is she telling the truth? I wish Xavier would give his meat a chance to explain. You would think he’d realize that she would not reject him if his life and her father’s life was not on the line. It also think he’d realize that there’s no way she could find her way back to him with his uncle in char
