2021-04-17 20:36:23Immediately Adam got out of the Williams house.He turned back and stared at the house,he smiled sadly and could not help but remember his parents.
"No,I can't be thinking of this right now.I need to find a way to help my sister"
He turned around and started trekking to Creek Hospital, where Amanda,his sister was hospitalized.On his way to the hospital,he was lost in thought.
He stood by the wayside racking his brain as to how to source for his sister's surgery fees.
A car, porsche to be exact parked beside him snapping him out of his thought.Immediately it parked,a man came of the passenger side and opened the car door for someone.
"Definitely one of those rich brats", thought Adam.
He turned to leave when he heard someone calling "Young Master Adam"
"So much going on in my mind,I am even beginning to hear wrong things",he mused.
Adam was sure he heard wrongly until he heard another "Young Master Adam" . He stopped in his tracks and looked back to see the man that called him.He was shocked when he saw Jacob Smith.
Jacob Smith who is highly regarded in Lagos is the president/chairman of the King's businesses.He presides on all things regarding business for the Kings,the most prominent family in town.Most of the wealthy families in town wants to associate with him in order to be able to collaborate with the Kings.Adam got snapped out of his thoughts when Jacob bowed his head in reverence to him.
"Sir,you must be mistaken,I am not your Young Master",said Adam.
"I am not mistaken", replied Jacob.
"You are Adam King,the only son of of the late Justin King.You only are the heir of the King's empire.Your father in his Will said to contact you only if you've clocked twenty two years and you're married",Jacob explained.
"I would have loved to continue listening to you sir,but I have some errands to run,if you would excuse me",said Adam politely.
While he was still talking,Jacob brought out a small rectangular box from his pocket and stretched forth the box to Adam.
"Do you still remember this",asked Jacob"This box seems familiar", Adam thought.He collected the box and opened it.Inside was a pendant in form of K which he could recognize vividly.His father always had this pendant on him till few weeks before he died.
"That pendant is your family's heirloom.It has always been passed from generations down.Your father gave it to me few weeks before he died",said Smith
Jacob Smith continued,"The will your father made could not be breached as there were no loopholes even though I tried helping in the background".
Adam was in a daze,he was still trying to understand the situation."You are the one that has always been sending me money",Adam asked.
"Yes",Jacob replied,"come with me,let's drop you at the hospital".
Just then a light bulb went off in his head,his sister was still in the hospital.
"Okay",he accepted the offer.

In the car,on the way to the hospital."Sir,the company needs you,all you need to do is sign the ownership agreement and come to the company from time to time",Jacob said."Stop calling me sir,Adam is fine.Give me some time to think it through".Adam was still thinking of how to get money when an idea struck him.
"Jacob,I need the sum of two million dollars for Amanda's surgery",Said Adam.
"Exactly why I said you need to takeover the company.Just sign the ownership agreement and you have all the money you need".
"I need this money to save my sister.Why don't I just sign it for my sister,just to save her life", thought Adam.
"I will sign it on a condition my identity be kept a secret and I will only come to the company wherever I wish.You will continue to make all the decisions regarding the company except when I tell you otherwise",Adam spoke.
"That's is alright,read the agreement and sign here using your thumb print",Jacob said bringing out an iPad beside him and placing it in Adam's hand.
