Chapter Sixty-Three

By the time we had arrived, it was eight o'clock. We were on time but still, my gut feeling told me that we should have gotten here earlier, and judging from the way Mr. Summers looking at me with one raised brow over the edge of his newspaper, I knew I was not wrong.

"Finally I get to meet the famous Tyler Vincent!" A woman in her early forties who looked like a split image of Autumn walked into the living room with a smile and I instantly recognized her. Not because she looked like Autumn's older version but because she was on the television every morning and night. Everyone knew Ava Smith. She was that famous. Looking at Autumn and her mother side by side, I wondered why had not it occurred to me that they were mother and daughter. 

"Pleased to meet you, Mrs. Summers." I stepped forward, offering my hand which she took with another smile. 

"You can call me Ava." Her gaze moved from me to Autumn before it was back to
