GAVIN
I watched and waited as Alia attempted to reach out to Sky. And after waiting for what felt like an eternity, Alia started sobbing, and it crushed my heart. I took her into my lap and wrapped my arms around her, embracing her even more tightly. I shouldn't have given her false hope.
"She's back..." She spoke in a low, almost inaudible voice.
I snapped from my own thoughts and drew her body away from mine, my hands clutching her arms as I tried to catch her gaze. "What exactly do you mean? Did the Goddess... return Sky to us?" I fumbled on my words, a part of me was worried that I misinterpreted her statement.
