Chapter 65
ALIA
As soon as Gavin placed me on the ground, my bones continued to snap and I could feel my face elongating and my furs coming out of my skin. In seconds, I was already looking at my paws padding the earth gently.
Sky howled at the moon above as Gavin kneeled beside us, wrapping his arms around Sky´s body. I could feel Gavin´s body shaking as he leaned his face into Sky´s fur, inhaling her scent.
The bond between us let me know he was glad to see Sky back, and I felt the same way. A big burden has been lifted from my shoulder as I caressed Sky´s fur inside my thoughts.
Sky whimpered and started licking our mate´s face to which Gavin replied by kissing her snout and rubbing the furs on her neck.
Gavin shifted into his wolf, and we let our Kurt and Sky run and play for a while.
I thought everything was going well and that we were back to normal until Sky requested to spend time with me alone.

ALIA I couldn't stop the tears from falling down my cheeks no matter how many times I told myself that everything would be fine. Gavin has hurt me in ways I could never have imagined.
