Well, Leila would have to wait another day.

I was discharged from the hospital the next morning and Camilla drove me back to the inn. She was quiet throughout the ride only responding to my questions with one worded answers. I knew she was still mad at me and so I was trying really hard to cheer her up which did not work.

When we got back to the inn, she had moved her things to the room besides mine. Something about needing her own space and the room being available suddenly that evening.

“You know, I could have an episode again and you would not be aware if you move out” I joked.

Her eyes widened at the horror of my words and I almost bit my tongue knowing how it sounded.

“I was just kidding, princess. I have the pills and they will be at arms reach. Nothing like what happened today will ever happen again, okay?”

“But what if… I could move back in and…”

“No, you need your space and I get it.” I told her, smiling.

Deep down, I wanted her to move back in and to forgive me.
