Aria Vale’s expression turned icy. Without a moment’s hesitation, she pushed the plate of oven-baked ribs Victor Sloan had offered toward the center of the table.

The entire table fell silent.

Victor’s face, in particular, flushed an ugly shade of red.

But Aria didn’t bat an eye. She lifted her chin proudly and shot him a look filled with utter disdain.

“Sorry, but I don’t eat oven-baked ribs anymore.”

Then she turned to Damian Cross. His deep, unreadable eyes held a flicker of curiosity—and doubt.

That was fine. He didn’t need to fully believe her yet. They had a lifetime ahead.

Aria flashed him a radiant, almost silly grin that lit up her entire face.

“You know what they say—love me, love my dog. Well, I’m marrying my big bro, so from now on, I like whatever he likes—like the sea bass he ordered!”

She gestured toward the expertly prepared Mediterranean sea bass on Damian’s plate. Picking up a clean fork, she speared a perfectly deboned piece of her own fish and brought it s

  • THE BILLIONAIRE'S SECRET BRIDE    Fires of Rivalry and Forbidden Desires

Pressed up against him, Aria’s jaw almost dropped. Seriously offended, she pouted—her ears turning red from frustration—and immediately scratched him with her nails. Once wasn’t enough. She went in for another. But to Damian, it just felt like a kitten pawing at him. Slightly ticklish and completely distracting. This girl was basically lighting his nerves on fire—and he didn’t mind at all. Feeling fired up, Damian turned even icier toward Liana. “Brother-in-law, I—” she began, trying to sound pitiful. But the look Damian shot her made her words catch in her throat. It was like staring into a predator’s eyes—terrifying. His voice was like ice. “Don’t call me that. You think you’re worthy?” His words were like a slap in the face—cruel and cutting. Paired with that glare, like he could rip someone apart on the spot, Liana didn’t dare breathe a word in protest. This man was born to rule. Even if he hadn’t been the golden child of the Cross family at the start, he still clawed his w

  • THE BILLIONAIRE'S SECRET BRIDE    The Unyielding Fiancée

“Aria didn’t say anything like that, alright? It’s totally Liana trying to frame me!” Aria mimicked Liana’s usual dramatic antics, hands on her hips, glaring at both Liana and Victor. She puffed up like a prickly little puffer fish, all worked up and adorable in a strangely fierce kind of way. That little performance made Liana almost explode. She shot Damian a tearful glance, her expression practically screaming, “Please love me, I’m so fragile.” And yeah, most men probably would’ve given in to that. But not Damian. From the second they stepped into the Vale residence, he hadn’t even bothered to look at her—literally not even for a second. “Brother-in-law, I swear I’m telling the truth! Why would my sister target me like this? Boo hoo!” “Is it because you’re here, so she’s too embarrassed to admit what she really said to Victor before? But I know you’re not the kind of guy to hold grudges, right?” “Sis, just be honest with your fiancé. I’m sure he’ll understand. I mean,

  • THE BILLIONAIRE'S SECRET BRIDE    A Rehearsed Betrayal

“Sis, Damian, you’re finally here.”Liana descended the stairs with a soft smile, her voice dripping with honeyed sweetness. Not a trace of the hatred she felt for Aria showed on her face—it was all locked away deep in her eyes, flashing for just an instant. But Aria caught it. She always did.Aria was almost impressed. She hadn’t expected Liana to abandon that sinking ship so easily. She’d even worried that the punishment had been too light. This worked out perfectly.“Little sis, it’s been so long! I’ve missed you!”Aria beamed, looking utterly cute and carefree. Her delicate face lit up like a painting brought to life. She stepped forward and grabbed Liana’s hand without a second thought, catching her completely off guard. For a split second, Liana tried to yank her hand back—pure instinct. But with Damian watching, she forced herself to stay still. The cold in his dark eyes was biting, cutting straight to the bone. One look from him, and Liana’s hand froze completely.Aria held on

  • THE BILLIONAIRE'S SECRET BRIDE    A Lesson Written In Ice

“And what exactly does my girl want to do with them?”Damian Cross raised a brow, his tone indulgent rather than questioning.Aria Vale pouted, her clear eyes sparkling with mischief. With Damian backing her, she had no intention of letting this slide. Some lessons needed to hurt to stick.“I want them to clean every single public bathroom in Meridian City,” she said coolly. “Maybe then they’ll learn to watch their mouths.”She straightened, unapologetic and firm. Aria never sought trouble—but once crossed, forgiveness was not her habit. Words like saint had never applied to her.Amused, Damian flicked a glance toward Nolan Drake.“Effective immediately,” Nolan announced sharply, stepping forward, “you are assigned to clean every public restroom in Meridian City. All of them.”The maids recoiled, then bristled. “Why should we?” they snapped, finally finding their courage. They had always pushed Aria around before. What made her different now?“Because you lack restraint,” Damian cut i
