After a week of sulking and throwing a pity party, Lucas decided it was time to do exactly what Isabelle had done. Get over their time together and move on with his life.

He had acknowledged within himself that he may have been wrong to treat her he way he did and divorce her in the manner that he had. He loved her through all the harshness and the pretence of not caring about her or about their union and the promises made to each other. But she should have waited, she should have given him time to figure it all out. Time to figure out how he could be with her without breaking his promise to his mother but she did not.
