For some unknown reason, Serena couldn't wrap her head around the cause of the uneasy feeling she had since she left the King's castle with Beta Adam for his company.
She felt that something was wrong. Even her wolf thought it too. For hours, she continued ignoring the uneasy feeling, but it remained there. Lunch break, she decided to go back to King Zed's castle and find out for herself if everything was okay.
She thought of informing Beta Adam at first but didn't, she told him that she was going to grab lunch at a nearby restaurant, and he didn't have a problem with that. He only instructed the driver that drove them to the company to take her to a restaurant of her choice.
Serena got into the car and instructed the driver to take her back to the castle.
