King Zed sat at the dining area facing his cousin, who had his arms folded and stared back at him with a grin.
King Zed wasn't happy with Duncan's presence but, the King's cousin couldn't care less. Serena, after some thought, left King Zed to prepare something for his cousin. He was the only relative Serena had met, so she felt treating him right would give her a good name.
After setting things on fire, she returned to the dining to find the two relatives staring at each other: one grinning and the other frowning.
She smiled and sat down beside her mate, she placed her hand on his, and it was only then that he moved his eyes towards her direction.

Chapter 2: His office Serena's POV As I sat on the floor, frightened, my lungs welled up with fear, my veins burned with nervousness as I started to shake, my eyes leaving the alpha as they fixed on the ground in submission. Chapter 4: Leaving her home THE CEO ALPHA KING Writer's P O V When Serena got home, she couldn't stop thinking how she was now a slave for such a stupid mistake. Not just any slave. But a slave to the Alpha King. As she pulled open the door, she couldn't sense anyone in the house, it was better. No one would witness this her walk of shame. How would she even explain to her family that her clumsiness had finally put her in trouble. Quickly, she ran to her room to pack her things. Her clothes were old and worn-out, but she didn't have any other ones. She pulled the rest of her things into her only box. With teary eyes, Serena laid on her bed, folding up herself in a circle and soon fell asleep.

Chapter 6: Rules THE CEO ALPHA KING Writer's POV Serena found herself being pulled towards the king by one of the guards, of course they would fear for their great King. They all thought the same thing, I might have poisoned the Alpha. She let them, because after all, she hadn't done anything wrong. They watched as the Alpha poured a quantity of the coffee into another cup before offering her to drink. Was he seriously not going to trust her words? "Drink."
