I had no words to describe how those three seconds felt when the obsessive woman shot the gun and the sound resonated in the air.

My ear begun to ring and vision got blurred for a moment.

"Emma!"

Brandon's ear deafening scream followed breaking the silence and I found myself pressed to his chest.

"You're okay?" He asked checking my face and body for any possible sign of injury.

"Yes..yess."I somehow whispered and buried my face more on his chest. I could practically count his heartbeats. I was still shaking in the trauma. If I wasn't hurt, Brandon looked fine then who was the victim?

"I was scared to death but thank god you're fine, love." He showered my face with kisses.
