Chapter 6. Making fun of the Estebans

Marco was seething with anger, he slammed a loud thump on the table, gritting his teeth in rage.

"How did all those people manage to hire the same demon and have him turn out perfectly in everything?" he questioned with a steely expression.

  "Don't complain too much, because even if you want to disguise it, that very demon likes you, "Paul pointed out mockingly.

"Me? You're crazy! Nothing could be further from the truth, how can I like a haughty woman, who doesn't have the self-conceit to discuss anything that comes to her mind? With those eyes, the color of bird poop and... Shit!" his friends guffawed when they saw Marco's expression.

"Did you realize you're fucked up? Do you like that woman?" questioned Liam. 

"Don't talk nonsense, I just resent her attitude, but I would never fall in love with a woman like her "he saw the raised eyebrows of his friends, who were looking at him with mockery. Don't look at me like that, I told you, I don't like her!" he exclaimed, although his friends didn't believe him anyway.

"Then why does she upset you so much? If you don't care, you should treat her with indifference" Paul indicated, looking at him suspiciously.

"Because she challenged me with her attitude and I can't stand it when someone wants to minimize me, I'll make her swallow her words and make her fall in love with me, then use her as she wants and in the end despise her" he smirked, imagining that happening, he closed his eyes and the scenes unfolded in front of him.

""My master, do you wish anything?" pronounced Leah, bowing to him, as he looked down on her from above.

"If I wish, take off my shoes and kiss my feet!" he exclaimed firmly.

Lia looked at him adoringly, knelt down in front of him, removed his shoes and began to shower him with kisses, her body shuddering at his touch.

" Get up and take off your clothes!" he ordered, immediately she stood up, looked at him with eyes full of excitement and spoke in a honeyed tone.

"As my master commands!" she took off her clothes one by one, while his excitement grew as he saw her undressed.

"Come here! " She walked until she reached his side, Marco made her bend down and took her nipple between his lips, making her moan, however, a strong jolt brought him out of that reverie."

"Marco! Marco! Devil man what are you thinking, why don't you listen?" was Liam's voice who brought him out of his pleasurable thoughts, he couldn't help but get angry at his inconvenient interruption.

"On what I'm going to do to subdue that woman. I will not attend the meeting because I will locate Miss Ontiveros" he added formally, and so that no one would question him, he left the room earlier, walked to the elevator and went down to find the car with the chauffeur and Lia.

"Ernesto, I have decided to go with you "when he entered and didn't see Lía, he was immediately worried and asked about her" Where is the girl? 

"I don't know sir, I thought she would come with you, when I got here, she hadn't arrived" the man justified himself.

Marco clenched his hands with an evident expression of annoyance, he began to count mentally to see if with that, he would avoid losing control and explode with anger, when he felt calmer, he called Paul and without giving any explanation he spoke to him with demand. 

"Send me Lia's cell phone number, apparently that devil woman has a hard time following instructions, but she will listen to me, she's already got me high!" he cut the call and waited patiently for his friend's message, in less than a minute he received the message back.

"Ernesto dials the address I'm going to give you on the GPS, and take me there "he ordered firmly". This woman will learn to respect me, by hook or by crook.

Lia left the Estebans building, apparently accepting all the conditions; however, it was not like that, she did not even think of submitting herself to all that torture exposed by Marco, nor would she be willing to have a child and give it away, as if it were a puppy of a domestic animal.

So, she rushed out, got on the bus while dialing her friend Hermes, to her relief he answered on the first ring.

"Hermes" spoke, she was barely answered because to tell the truth, she had a couple of years of not contacting him, she should feel ashamed for calling him, nevertheless, sometimes necessity makes you be hard-faced, besides they grew up together.

"Lia, is that you, how long woman, what am I good for?" the man asked curiously. 

"I need you to meet me a few blocks before I get to my house, I'll leave you in charge of the sale and everything, I'll make a private document to take care of you, I need to leave urgently" she spoke feeling a bit nervous.

"What do you mean, are you running away from something?" he asked worriedly.

"Let's meet now, and I'll tell you everything that happened" was her answer.

Thirty minutes later they met, and she told him everything; Hermes began to reproach her.

"Are you crazy? How could you think of signing a contract with Estebans of that magnitude and run away from him, that man owns this country, that family has absolute power and when he realizes your escape, he will look for you, you will not find where to hide you, and although he could well look for another candidate, from what you have told me, you became a challenge for him".

"He won't notice my escape until I'm not far from here, I was supposed to come in his car with the chauffeur, but I left him waiting and there they'll stay, they'll grow roots for him because I'm not even close to keeping that deal, no matter how much Estebans surname the snooty guy carries." 

She spoke smiling while she walked holding her friend's arm, and she was so amused that she didn't notice the car stopped in front of her house and even less that the man was waiting for her outside and listened to all their conversation, with a clear expression of annoyance, until it was too late.

"So you're having fun teasing the Estebans with your little boyfriend!" she spat, controlling her growing anger, she didn't understand why this woman could exploit the worst of her emotions.

 Hearing him, she turned pale, seemingly all her blood escaped from her face, without a second thought, she ran away from Hermes as if she had been caught doing something wrong.

"You? How did you get to my house!" she exclaimed, looking at him in disbelief.

 

"No one is so brave as not to be disturbed by something unexpected." Julio César.
