CHAPTER 16

Riella's POV.

I waited for the waiter to place our order on the table, and smile at us in that formal yet friendly way before he spurned around on his heels and walked away.

I sat down properly and took a bite of what had been served on our plates, eating and savoring the taste. It was only after I realized that a particular brown-eyed was boring holes into my skin that I stopped and grabbed the napkin on the table to wipe at my mouth.

“What sir?” I asked when I saw the slight smirk playing on his lips as he watched me.

“For someone who has something to say about this place, you sure are enjoying the food.” He started to eat too.

“I haven't had anything to eat all day. Besides, what I wanted to say is that; The restaurant has a nice exterior and all of that but it doesn't mean the food will taste as good as the design.” I explained.

“Hmm,” He chuckled lowly. “You sure have strong opinions.” He added.
