CHAPTER SIXTEEN

Bree didn't like having her hair flying in the ruffling morning breeze and into her face in the process, but the unruly strands keep escaping the ponytail she'd caught it in and were doing exactly that.

If only she'd gotten her mum's beautiful, rich locks that were so easily tamed and stays put for hours on end.

She stood outside, in that cool morning breeze, clutching her purse in an unconscious show of nervousness.

She hated being here and waiting only intensified the feeling.

"We're ready for visitors, miss." A young girl that looked barely out of highschool called to her, distracting her from her thoughts.

She was probably one of those nice student volunteers that came around here from time to time.

"Thank you." Bree answered her with a tight smile, bracing herself to face this.

She did the breath therapy thing she'd watched on all those mental preparation videos on YouTube before dragging her suddenly heavy limbs inside.
