Honeymoon?

When Wendy looked at herself in the mirror, she was dumbfounded.

As much as she hated that she was dressed by the snubbish Barbara, she looked amazing in the lacy soft pink gown and matching jewels. She was sure the delicate strappy heels on her feet cost a fortune.

Wendy didn't recognize her hair either. She usually just tamed the red mane with a tight band behind her head but whatever this hairdresser had done was different and absolutely beautiful.

It was so different from her usual work clothes. She was sure if she stepped into the children's library, bad-tempered Tracy would not recognise her and might treat better.

Tracy was the chief librarian and she was bitter that she ended up in a little old and broken children's library. Sadly, Wendy was at the recieving end of her frustration.

Wendy was sure the few children who frequented the library would not believe she was Miss Sebastian, the bookkeeper.

'You definitely do not look like the whore from last night. Bee just has her way around these things.' Louis had muttered immediately she stepped into the limo and turned back to his new phone like hadn't said anything.

She didn't know what she was expecting from him but it was definitely not that. She was tired of defending herself and so she just decided to ignore the insult and throw hers.

'So Bee is your personal assistant who you're fucking by the side.'

He looked up and stared at her with dark eyes. Wendy almost regretted it. But no, he started it.

'I don't think that should be your business. Still digging for more stories for the media?' He accused.

God. 'I-'

'Yes, you should just mind your business. And stop your evil little schemes if you don't want more problems.'

She sat in silence and watched Louis and his personal assistant laugh hard at their boring jokes during the drive to the lawyer's. She observed how Barbara rubbed the man's thigh at every turn and the fact that Louis didn't flinch. He was obviously enjoying the touchy feely nonsense.

Who was the whore now?

She rolled her eyes.

Billionaires would always be hoes. Young or old. Especially young. Imagine fucking his personal assistant. She didn't know why she was bothered but it irritated the hell out of her. No wonder the girl was so against the fake marriage. Well, she would not stop their nonsense. They could as well continue. She would just bury herself in her work, endure the marriage till it was time for the divorce.

Immediately she stepped out of the limo, Louis was by her side holding her hand. She turned to see what the problem was but he was staring done at her with soft eyes that showed nothing but adoration. She was confused. Immediately, they stepped into the building, he dropped her hand like hot potato.

'Bee anonymously tipped some media men. They were around in the parking lot. Don't look at me that way again. They might pick something. Once we're outside again, you get into your role. You need to act the part to make it believable.' He whispered hurriedly before leaving her behind to meet up with Barbara.

'Assholes' She muttered under her breath.

The prenup was pretty basic. It was structured to stop her from leeching on him, upon the divorce. Louis' premarital assets were off limits to Wendy while they stayed or got divorced. And there was no alimony after the divorce.

She signed it quickly. She didn't care about the man's money, anyway. She however did not miss the satisfied look on Barbara's face ones her signature was on the paper.

She walked behind the two again as they left the building. And she stopped herself from slipping off her heels and flinging the pair, one shoe on each of the scheming heads.

When they got to the exit door, they turned and waited for Wendy to get to the door.

'Smile.' He ordered quietly, taking her hand as well. He pushed the door open and walked smiling at her. 'Can please smile? Cameras are everywhere.' He complained, the plastic smile still on his face.

She smiled and he nodded in appreciation.

They were almost at the limo when he stopped suddenly. He spinned her and she was facing him looking straight into her eyes.

Everything around Wendy disappeared. She closed her eyes when he leaned in for a kiss. He claimed her mouth in the most demanding kiss she had ever had. His hands snakes into her pretty hair but she didn't care. She wrapped her arms around him and gave him kiss for kiss. She lifted herself on her little toes to get closer to the man's hot body.

He pulled out first. Stared at her dilated eyes for a second or two before planting a little kiss on her nose. He smiled at her briefly. He took her hand and she followed him with her liquid legs.

'You didn't have to kiss her for that long, Louis.' Barbara jabbed Louis immediately they got into the limo.

Louis chuckled. 'I had to make it believable. Give them enough pictures for their stupid stories.' He turned to Wendy who was still breathless from the kiss. ' You did well. Why aren't you a popular actress, already?'

Wendy forced a smile and made a small sound. How did he pretend so well, himself? He faked that kiss? A playboy through and through

Barbara rolled her eyes. 'It didn't seem like she was acting to me. Looked like she was enjoying every moment.

Louis cleared his throat. 'Now that this is done and our little wedding pictures are being dropped gradually on the internet. Here are some ground rules.

Bee would make sure your wardrobe done away with. You certainly would not make me look like a bad husband in public.'

'I have my clothes. At home.'

'They certainly would not make you look like Louis Schelling's wife.'

She swallowed hard. That was valid. ' So why would some other woman choose my clothes?'

'Bee's my personal assistant. Barbara handles my expenses. I trust her with my money. I can't say that for you, sadly.'

'B-but-'

'Allow me finish Miss Sebastian. I would like to remind you that this arrangement is only on paper and I do not want drama. We don't have to act like a couple.

I'll live my life like I always have. You should do the same. Well, you can at least put a leash on yourself. I don't want the media getting pictures of my wife with a different man every other night.

Just be careful. While you're whoring, be discreet at least.

Other than our occasional appearances in public as a couple, we'll live totally separate lives.'

'Louis, I think you should hold on the rules. Your father just sent me a voucher to an all expense paid honeymoon trip to Paris.'

'What the -'
