They dragged her out of the prison, and she followed them obediently, not wanting to hurt anyone else. She repeatedly asked about Daphne's condition, but met with silence.
Aloha was shoved to the ground inside a hall and winced in pain. She scanned her surroundings, wondering what was going to happen to her. She thought that Ragnar, whose woman she had hurt, was going to punish or kill her today.
Aloha had concluded that Daphne was his woman because she had heard Daphne call him her man. Although Aloha had heard a rumor that Ragnar was gay, seeing a beautiful woman beside him made her question the truthfulness of the rumor.
Ragnar burst into the room with Daphne beside him. Aloha sighed deeply, relieved that Daphne was alive. Seeing Ragnar up close, Aloha noticed that he was very handsome. He wore a black tuxedo suit that brought justice to his tall, well-built physique. Just by looking at him, he brought joy to girls' hearts, including hers.
But the coldness that surrounded him would scare girls away; Aloha thought as she watched him sit down on a high chair while his mistress seated beside him.
He gestured to a guard, and they dragged Aloha close to him. She lowered her head, unable to look into his scary eyes.
“Can you kindly explain to me the reason you used your power against her? I would love to know why,” Ragnar started.
Aloha scoffed as he mentioned power. If she had powers, he would have been the first person she would use it to kill. Moreover, Aloha loves reading supernatural books, so she understands what powers mean, though she counted them as human fiction.
Aloha hadn't settled with the thought in her mind when a slap brushed her cheeks.
“You don't scoff in the King's presence. You are a slave here, and he is your master. Get that in your damn head,” one of the guards said.
“Don't make me repeat myself,” Ragnar said calmly, startling everyone in the room. They all knew that he didn't have enough patience.
“I don't have any power. I don't know how it happened, and I never meant to hurt her. Moreover, a human can't possess any supernatural power,” Aloha explained.
“It happened because you are a witch. No human would hurt a wolf, which is why I want to know why you used your power against her,” Ragnar said.
Aloha couldn't understand what he meant. She wondered what he was talking about. Maybe he was a lover of supernatural fiction like herself, she thought.
Just then, Daphne whispered to Ragnar's ear, and with the fuming anger expressed on her face, Aloha knew that whatever she told Ragnar would not be anything good.
“For the last time, why did you use your power against her?” Ragnar thundered, making the atmosphere even more tense.
Aloha looked around to check if anyone would plead on her behalf, but the cold gaze on the faces of the people inside the hall made her realize that they were as bad as their boss.
Ragnar's command came swiftly, filling the air with dread. "Go and behead her, I want to avoid hearing her breath again."
Aloha screamed, "No! No way!" She tried to crawl towards him, but the guards blocked her path.
“You can't kill a human, it is against the government rule. You will be charged in court if you kill me. They will kill you too,” she shouted, hoping to reason with them.
The room erupted in laughter at her words, and Aloha felt a sinking feeling in her gut. This was it. This was how she was going to die.
Ragnar froze in his tracks, his face darkening as he turned to face Aloha. "I'd love to see that, but they'd have to behead your head before I could go to jail. And that's happening now."
Aloha wondered if this was the end for her. "Is this how I'm going to die? Am I dying today?" she asked herself a rhetorical question.
As Ragnar turned to leave, Aloha's desperate thoughts turned to confession. She blurted out, “I'm a witch. I killed my father. I hurt my bullied classmate. I hurt your woman. Everyone hates me. My mother hates me because I'm a witch.”
The room fell silent, and Aloha's eyes widened with shock at what she had just revealed. But maybe, just maybe, this would save her life.
Ragnar turned back to face her, and Aloha's heart sank again as he approached her. He lifted her chin and spoke in a low, deadly voice.
“Declaring that you are a witch is not enough to save you again. You have missed the opportunity. The only way you can save yourself now is to perform a healing spell on a small child. She's dying, and only a witch can save her. If you save her, you won't die. But if she dies, you will die too.”
He released her chin and walked away, leaving Aloha trembling and terrified.
“Spell...I'm not a witch. Why can't they believe me? I don't have powers,” Aloha sobbed, her anguish laughter bringing tears to her eyes.
Outside the hall, Daphne halted Ragnar with her questions.
“Why would you want to trust her with Effa? She's a liar, and I can't trust her,” Daphne stated, her voice heavy with suspicion.
"I know witches are betrayers, but she's not lying. I read her thoughts. She didn't know she had her powers, but I could feel the weight of her powers. She might be able to help Effa if she can activate her powers,” Ragnar explained, his voice low and grave.
“But I don't...”
“I don't want to hear anything concerning her again. If she fails, I will kill her,” Ragnar interrupted, his voice firm and unyielding.
Daphne clenched her fist in fury, the thought of Aloha's impending death piercing her soul. “She can't! I won't allow it. She will die,” she whispered, her eyes burning with determination.
Aloha sat on the small bed inside the tiny room she had been taken to, staring at the walls and thinking of a way to escape. She only had two days left before Ragnar would kill her if she failed to heal the small child. The room was barely big enough for her to stretch her legs, and the only source of light came from a small window on the door. She wondered how she had gotten herself into this mess. She had no idea that she was a witch, but Ragnar and his people believed she was. As she pondered her situation, the door creaked open, and a she-wolf entered the room. Aloha jumped to her feet, startled by the sudden intrusion. The she-wolf was the one who had been bringing her food since she was taken captive. Aloha looked at the she-wolf with a mixture of fear and hope. She had an idea. She would beg the she-wolf to help her run away. “Please help me out, I want to run away, I can't just die like this,” Aloha pleaded. “Why are all witches so selfish?” she asked. “You have the po
George sat beside Aloha's bed in the hospital, holding her hand gently. He could see the fear in her eyes and knew he needed to calm her down. "Aloha," he said softly, "I know it's a lot to take in, but I promise you're safe, no one will hurt you." Aloha looked at him, still trembling slightly. "I can't believe this is real," she said. "Werewolves,… it's like something out of a horror movie." George smiled reassuringly. "I know it's scary, but if the wolves wanted to harm you, they would have done italready. They're not as bad as people make them out to be." Aloha nodded slowly, starting to relax a little. She couldn't help but feel a sense of trust in George. "Thank you," she said quietly. "I don't know what I would do without you." George chuckled. "You make it sound like I'm an angel or something." Aloha smiled weakly. "Maybe you are. You certainly seem to know what you're talking about." George laughed. "I'm just a guy who's been around a while. I've seen a lot of things." A
Ariel stepped into the club, her eyes scanning the crowded dance floor. The music was so loud, it was almost deafening. The club was filled with smoke, the dim lighting made it difficult to see clearly. She made her way to the bar and ordered a drink, hoping it would calm her nerves. As she waited for her drink, she noticed a familiar face on the dance floor. It was Andre, the man she had been searching for. Ariel picked up her drink and made her way to the dance floor, swaying her hips to the music. She approached Andre, tapping him on the shoulder to get his attention. "Hey, Andre," she shouted over the music. Andre turned around, surprised to see Ariel. "Hey, I didn't expect to see you here," he said. "I need your help," Ariel replied, her voice barely audible over the music. "What's going on?" Andre asked he found his way out of the dancing floor and Ariel followed him and he spot a stool and slid onto "Hey there, handsome," Ariel purred, sliding onto the stool next to him.
George stood in the hallway, waiting for her. When he saw Aloha approaching, he rushed over to her, he had sent a maid to call her for him. "How are you doing?" he asked, standing in front of her. Last night, after George left the king's chamber, he followed Ragnar's instructions creating a friendship with Aloha, and trying to make her trust him. However, George made sure to position himself beside her when she woke up today, since then, their communication had improved, and Aloha seemed more comfortable around him. Although Ragnar had instructed George not to touch Aloha, he told him to comfort Aloha and teach her how to use her powers. Yet George didn't know when he would lose control around her again because even now, her blood is driving him crazy but he wanted her to heal little Effa before he would take any action on how to have her. George held Aloha's waist as they walked toward Effa's room, ignoring the stares of the guards in the hallway As they exited the main mansion
IN COMA REALM Effa jolted upright as she heard Daphne's threat to Aloha, wanting Alpha Ragnar to punish her. She tried to move out from the shell that enclosed her, but the glistening barriers, which blocked her spirit from accessing her physical body, wouldn't let her pass. "No!! I have to save her. I want to go back to my body," she growled. Effa had been in this coma realm for the past ten years, and she had never wished to go back to her physical body, even though she was lonely there with no one to communicate with. She saw it as a punishment for making her uncle kill an innocent person because of her. There was only one thing that could make her want to go back to her body, and that was if she remembered the person who made her sick. But she couldn't remember. The guilt of letting someone die because of her made her not want to leave. However, hearing Aloha's sweet voice, telling her that his uncle might be wicked, but he cares for her and wants her to get well, intrigue
Finally, Aloha turned back, wanting to go back to her room until an idea struck her mind---An idea of how to save herself, then she started on her tracks wanting to find George's room. After a while Aloha's heart was pounding as she stumbled out of the hallway, gasping for air. She had been running for what seemed like forever, trying to find her way through the maze-like palace to George's room. But the endless twists and turns had only left her more lost and confused. She found it difficult to locate George's room as she was not familiar with the palace and had a tendency to forget directions. Aloha navigated through the unfamiliar palace hallway, she spotted a figure emerging from a nearby doorway. It was none other than Marcus, the notorious playboy prince, who had his arm wrapped around a stunning woman. Aloha observed as he leaned in to kiss the woman's cheek, feeling a pang of disgust as she watched his flirtatious behavior. Aloh couldn't quite understand why she felt so bot
George opened the door, and Marcus stood revealed, flashing a sly smile. "Hey, George. Can I come in?" he asked, his eyes darting towards Aloha. Before George could answer, Aloha spoke up, "Actually, I'll talk to him in private," she said, making her way to the door, looking surprised. Marcus stepped aside, holding the door open for her. As she passed, he leaned in close, whispering in her ear, "Be careful of George." Aloha scoffed at his warning, knowing Marcus was a flirt. But deep down, she couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't right. As Marcus walked away, Aloha clenched her hands, wondering who to trust - the flirtatious prince or the doctor who had saved her life. She hissed under her breath and made her way back to the room, where George was waiting, his jealousy bubbling over. "How do you know him?" George demanded, bombarding Aloha with questions. "He brought me here," Aloha replied, trying to keep her tone even. "Why did he come back?" George asked, suspicio
Aloha was shaking as she walked along the quiet road, her heart beating heavily. Everywhere was dark, unable to know where she was, and she hadn't come in contact with anyone, making her shuddering. She felt so scared walking alone in the darkness, she wondered how she got here in the first place, she tried going into the memory lane of how she got here but nothing seemed to pop out. Suddenly, she caught the glimpse of a dim light infiltrating the darkness, she knitted her brows in relief and followed the trail of the light. She wrapped her hands around her shoulder as she walked timidly and anxiously following the light, all she wanted was to reach the light hurriedly. She felt there was a shadow trailing after her, instilling more fear in her, she jumped as a chirping penetrated into her ears. Oh!… she mumbled and felt relieved seeing, it was just a flying bird. Finally, she breathed deeply as she moved closer to the light until she was staring at the light intently. Her mout
