GAIA'S ASSASSINATION

Alexis (in flashback pov)

The rain started and the black clouds flashed when the thunderbolts roared. Her pale face appeared ghostly and I could tell that she had less time than I expected.

"If you were that important to him, that i needed to ask him, he would have already told us about you. Please, stop making such baseless assumptions and talk like a real whole person." I started while looking into her eyes that held so much pain on them.

That woman had suffered in her life. She was hopeless and there was no future for her. I felt bad but still, I couldn't melt over a poor woman because she was on demon's territory.

"I was one of the protectors, and sent to the land of mortals for a mission. But I fell for a demon and ruined things for everyone. I was banished from the angel realm and never found peace here too." She cried.

"I married the demon king but I was unaware of his intention and fell in his trap. Now that I am bound to serve him till the day I die, I want you to kill me an
