I REMEMBER YOU

It was a beautiful day, if you were keen enough to look at the world outside, however, it took the mind of someone different to find out that it wasn't actually a beautiful day, just a normal day with different hues in the sky. I wondered how little things can change someone's perspective.

But if you ask me, my perspective doesn't change because I know nothing has changed and it never will. It was the same day with a different shit to deal with.

I was pissed when my eyes met with a brown pair of orbs. His big specs hanging over his ears and eyes darted at me. My night was wasted and my day started with awkwardness. My head was throbbing but he planted a smile on his face and greeted me politely.

"Good morning, Alexis. How are you?"

I still recall the day we met and his eyes were cold but I could see him getting much friendlier and gentler. But why was he here?

"Karl, what are you doing here?" I asked him instead of taking his greets.
