BIANCA’S POV

I had no idea a crowd had formed outside the firm. Reporters stood outside with microphones and cameras, asking me questions.

“Is it true you were behind the murder of Mr Brown Clarke?”

“Why did you kill that poor sweet lady, Mrs Bayerns?”

“Will your family stop this case with their affluence and wealth?”

I didn’t respond as the policewoman led me to the car.

Jason stepped out behind me. “Look at her face, everyone. That’s the face of my father’s murderer. Justice can be delayed but not denied.”

Ironic as he was the one in contact with the broker. But I couldn’t say that without incriminating myself so I kept quiet.

Someone from the crowd threw coffee at my white top and screamed. “Murderer.”

Soon, others followed and the crowd turned aggressive as my security team fought to hold them back.

The coffee soaked through my blouse, dripping warm down my skin, but I didn’t flinch. I wouldn’t give them the satisfaction. The shouts grew louder, a storm of voices crashing agai

  • MY EX ENEMY IS OBSESSED WITH ME   PRISON

BIANCA’S POVThe room felt colder when I stepped back inside. Detective Morris didn’t sit this time. He stood with the file closed in his hand and his eyes locked on me. “I’m going to give you one last chance to come clean, Miss. I know you think I have something against you but trust me, I interrogate everyone the same way,” he said. “If this is about what Jason said, ignore it. He tends to be a douche. Now, can I please go submit my resignation letter?” I asked. “Resignation? Then it’s a good thing we did this today. Caught you just in time.”I scoffed. “Detective please don’t waste my time. It’s been a year, let it go.”The officers were already setting up a laptop on the table and the screen glowed bright against the dim lights.“Someone tipped us off that there was evidence in your possession,” he said. “I sent a team to your house.”My chest tightened. “You searched my house without my permission? Isn’t that a crime?”“If we didn’t find proof it would have been,” he said. “

  • MY EX ENEMY IS OBSESSED WITH ME   YOU MUST SEE THIS

BIANCA’S POV “How could you hide this from me? And she was the one you went out to meet yesterday?” I asked. I looked up at Rob, my eyes wide and burning with disbelief. “You didn’t tell me,” I said, my voice breaking but loud enough to fill the room. His jaw tightened, but he said nothing. “My baby,” I whispered, then spat the words out harder. “My baby, Rob. How could you keep that from me?” “I wanted to handle it myself,” he said. I stood up, pacing the room, fury rising like fire in my chest. “You think I’m some fragile thing who can’t handle the truth? I needed you, Rob. You. And I needed honesty. He swallowed, guilt flickering across his face, but he stayed silent.A knock on the door dragged my attention. Sharon stepped in glancing between Rob and I. “There is a staff meeting in next five minutes, ma’am,” she said. I sighed. “I’ll be there.”She nodded and left. “I’m going to that meeting. This isn’t over,” I said. I walked past him to the staff meeting, pushing

BIANCA POVRob’s eyes narrowed as I grabbed my bag and started walking back toward the car.“Jason?” he asked, his voice low but sharp.“Yes,” I said without looking at him. “He’s at my office.”“It’s six thirty in the morning,” Rob muttered, following close behind me. “Why is he there?”“I don’t know,” I said, unlocking the car. “But if he’s texting me this early, it’s not for coffee. You shouldn’t come so it doesn’t turn into a brawl.”Rob stopped walking and I could feel his stare on my back. “You’re not going alone.”“I wasn’t asking you,” I said, sliding into the driver’s seat.“I wasn’t giving you a choice,” he shot back, taking the passenger side before I could stop him.I started the engine and turned onto the road, my hands tightening on the wheel. * * *By the time we pulled into the garage of my office building, Rob had already switched into another mode. His jaw was set, his shoulders squared, and I knew he was thinking about every possible threat before we even reached

  • MY EX ENEMY IS OBSESSED WITH ME   THE MOST BEAUTIFUL

BIANCA’S POV I knew. I had known for weeks. Maybe even months before we left for Venice. At first, it creeped me out, but then it made me feel something I couldn’t admit out loud. I also felt protected in a way that wasn’t normal but still made me sleep better at night. He didn’t move when I said it. He just stood there, like he was waiting for me to scream or throw something or slap him across the face. But I didn’t. I sipped my coffee again, but he still didn’t breathe. “I should have told you,” I said. “But I wanted to see how far you’d go.” His jaw clenched and he finally stepped forward. “Bianca.” “I’m not saying it was okay,” I cut in. “I’m just saying I understood why.” He reached for the counter like he needed something to hold him up, but I stayed where I was. “You scare me,” I whispered. That made him hesitate. “But you also make me feel like nothing could touch me. And I don’t know which one I like more.” His eyes darkened and I watched the contro

  • MY EX ENEMY IS OBSESSED WITH ME   THE DEVIL’S CHOKEHOLD

ROB’S POV Just as I stepped out of his office, I received a message from one of my lookouts. Vanessa was back in New York. Which meant I had to kill her. I requested her live location and stationed someone in my place to look out for Bianca on the inside. If Vanessa was bold enough to come back, then she was ready to die. I got in the car and drove without thinking, my heart pounding too steadily for the storm in my chest. She was ten blocks away. Midtown. A high-rise. Of course. When I arrived, the concierge recognized me. I didn’t smile. Just lifted my badge, gave her name, and was directed to the elevator without a word. Thirty-fifth floor. Penthouse suite. The hallway was silent but I could hear music playing inside her room. I didn’t bother knocking. She was already expecting me. She was standing by the window, a wine glass in her hand and the music playing low like background noise but I didn’t care. She turned when she heard the door click shut and sm
