People are tragically, gloriously mistaken to think that humans are the highest form of life and the only beings that live on our planet. But they forget to acknowledge the fact that there are devils in the form of humans living with us.

The first night Alessia Rivera met Dante Moretti, she should have known he was trouble.

The kind of man who looked like sin dressed in a tailored suit. The kind of man mothers warned their daughters about.

But she hadn’t listened. Maybe she couldn’t.

Now his name is branded on her heart,

his shadow stitched into her soul.

All she wanted was salvation with a little satisfaction—one that won’t ruin her, but the devil doesn’t crave salvation.

He craves possession.

****FLASHBACK*****

If not for her parents, she wouldn't even be in this mess.   Alessia is the epitome of beauty... a petite girl with the most perfect body and face card. One, every man would want to have as his. Aside from her being beautiful, she is hard-working, determined, and zealous. She was everything, but the one thing she craved was a man who would love her for who she was. But that dream of hers is shattered because her parents didn’t care about her feelings; they were not listening to her complaints, and, even when the evidence was staring at their faces, they just turned a blind eye.

That  evening, she caught Damon cheating on her changed everything..

she went to a club on the other side of town, the kind of place she’d never been before—dark, loud, and full of strangers who didn’t care who she was.

She drank herself into a stupor because it was easier than crying. The liquor burnt her throat, numbed her chest, and for a while, she felt free.

Until she felt someone carried her.

“Let me go,” Alessia yelled as he carried her in a bridal style to the room. She kept on hitting him, but it seemed she was the one getting hurt in the process.

He got to the room and placed her on the bed

“You are nothing but an asshole,” she yelled and burst into tears.

“I am not going to marry that monster,” she yelled, and he rolled his eyes slowly.

What Dante didn't understand was why she was  yelling at him when he had just rescued her from those hungry lions at the club. She was drunk for crying out loud, yet she was still drinking.

“Do I look like a monster to you?” Dante asked from nowhere in annoyance.

“I don’t want to marry who I don’t love,” she yelled again. But before she could say something again, he shut her up with a kiss, but he didn't know why he did that.

The kiss was fierce, raw, and demanding, as if he was staking his claim on her soul. His mouth moved with perfect dominance, his lips soft yet insistent, coaxing and consuming all at once.

His hand slid to the back of her neck, fingers threading through her hair as he tilted her head to deepen the kiss. His other hand rested on her waist, pulling her firmly against him, their bodies perfectly aligned. The warmth of his touch was electric, and Alessia felt her whole body melting under his control; her breath hitched as he explored every bit of her with intensity.

His tongue grazed her lower lip, teasingly, before delving into her mouth and tasting her fully. The kiss shifted, turning slower but not less possessive, as he wanted to savour every moment, every second, and every sensation.

He didn't just kiss; he claimed ownership.

He broke from the kiss, his voice was raspy as ever.

“Are you sure you want this? He brought out his dick for her to see the length and decide.

Alessia's throat dried up; she wasn't sure of what she wanted to say, but her pussy was already itching to know what it feels like to have it inside her.

She took a gulp in and whispered in a seductive voice.

“Yes, I want this, but I have never done this before.”

Dante quickly undressed her and leaned forward and gave her a kiss on her forehead, reassuring her he would be gentle.

He used his dick to tease the entrance of her pussy, then his lips suddenly took her lips, kissing her slowly till she was drawn into the sensation of the kiss. Suddenly Alessia felt something hard tearing her pussy apart; that was Dante shoving a quarter of his length into her. Her eyes squinted and knees weakened.

“No...” she whimpered into his mouth while breaking from the kiss and staring painfully into his eyes tearfully.

“It hurts,” she cried out, but he moved one of his hands, tugging it behind her ears and kissing her forehead. Fuck, what was this feeling he was feeling? He hasn’t felt this way before.

“I know it hurts, but trust me, his voice was soothing, and they melted something inside her.

“Okay,” she said as he shoved half of his length in; Alessia felt full. Her legs turned weaker, and she felt like she couldn't take him anymore.

“Oh my… You are so huge.” She cried out, the pain intensifying, her hand gripped tightly into the bed sheet. She was so small underneath him

Dante felt something in him die at the painful expression on her face. He wasn’t supposed to be attached to her, but he felt something connecting them already. He just couldn’t stand her in pain.

He was half inside her, and he knew he wouldn’t be able to go in. Even though she was squeezing him really hard, the urge to fuck this sweet pussy of hers was there, but he still needed to go gently with her.

He started off by stroking her gently and watching her facial expression between pain and pleasure; little by little every pain started wearing off.

“Are you enjoying it?” he asked softly, dropping a kiss on her lips again while stroking her gently.

She flashed him a gentle smile to ease all his worries.

"Yes, it doesn’t hurt as much as before.”

Dante leaned over her and kissed her tenderly before pushing his whole dick into her and thrusting with as much vigour as he could without coming.

Oh fuck!! Their moans colluded, and he watched tears rolling out of her eyes. But he had to; he had to tear her out so that she won’t feel pain next time. The next time could be tomorrow or next week, because he was already addicted when he had not even started.

The Morning After

Sunlight cut through the curtains. Alessia woke up in an unfamiliar room, sheets tangled around her legs. She looked at the bed and froze

There was a man in bed with her. He was still sleeping peacefully.

She sat up slowly, her head pounding. “I should go before he sees me.”

She quickly dressed and left the room with no questions and traces.

Only if she knew that losing her virginity to the devil was the beginning of her nemesis.

Alessia opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came forth. Her hands were shaking so badly she had to grip the edge of the hospital chair just to stay steady. Dante stood frozen in front of her — jaw clenched, eyes burning into hers — waiting for her to reply. And then Alessia finally spoke. It came out in pieces. In broken breaths. In the kind of voice that only exists when someone is bleeding from the inside."Fine," she whispered. “You want the truth? Then here it is.”There was silence and lots of tension in the room, as everyone was waiting for what she had to say.Alessia herself couldn’t look at him.Couldn’t bear to see the disappointment she was sure she’d find.So she stared at her hands instead… the same hands that had given her sister away.“I didn’t know, Dante… I had no idea they weren’t real hospital staff.”Her breath hitched as tears flowed freely from her eyes — it was a sharp, painful thing.“Mira was only a few hours old. She was so tiny, so warm and beautiful, I

  • THE DEVIL'S OBSESSION    FORTY-THREE: Alessia's secret

[SOMEWHERE IN ROME]A young woman sat naked at the edge of a dimly lit room, the dull glow of a flickering lamp casting shadows across her skin. She took a slow drag from her cigarette, eyes fixed on the glowing screen in front of her. Smoke curled from her lips as she scrolled through the endless news updates, her expression unreadable. Her lips twisted into a bitter smirk as another headline flashed across the screen—Damon’s Affair Exposed. Engagement call-off confirmed.“It always comes full circle, doesn’t it?” she murmured, tapping the ash from her cigarette onto the worn wooden chair beneath her. “You found your way back to each other. Huh?”The air in the small apartment was thick—reeking of sweat, sex, and something darker. Clothes were strewn haphazardly across the floor, mingled with empty bottles, used syringes, and an assortment of firearms. On the walls, dozens of photographs were pinned like a twisted detective board, connected with red strings, newspaper clippings, and

  • THE DEVIL'S OBSESSION    CHAPTER FORTY-TWO: Just tonight with the devil

Alessia clung to him like she’d die if she let go—legs wrapped tightly around his waist, arms locked around his neck, face buried into the crook of his neck where his scent—musk and a hint of smoke—wrapped around her like a drug.In the hands of Dante Moretti, she always felt safe.It didn’t matter that those hands had once strangled a man until he begged for breath…It didn’t matter that they’d held bloodied knives, pulled triggers without hesitation, or crushed hearts without remorse. In his arms, she didn’t care about the devil he was in the world.Because to her, he was still the man who once kissed her knuckles like she was sacred.Still the man who knew her favourite songs, who stayed up late just to draw her while she slept on his chest.Tears slipped down her cheeks as their lips crashed again—hungry, desperate, and sinful. Her fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him deeper into her as his tongue slid across hers in a dance they knew all too well. A low groan rumbled from his

[LATER THAT NIGHT]The game went on—more dares, more truths, more laughter—but Alessia’s smile was beginning to feel forced, like a fragile glass ready to shatter.Damon hadn’t looked at her in over twenty minutes. Not once. His focus was completely on Rachel—how he whispered in her ear, how she giggled like a teenage girl, how their hands brushed far too often to be innocent.Alessia couldn’t breathe. Her fingers curled into her dress beneath the table. She stood up, brushing imaginary dust off her gown. "I need to use the restroom," she said tightly to no one in particular and walked off.As she slipped past the crowd, she realized Damon had disappeared too. Her eyes scanned the room, and Rachel’s seat was now empty as well. Her heartbeat picked up.A gut feeling.Something dark. Something awful. She began walking faster, heels clicking against the marble floor, following the corridor leading to the back hallway of the grand villa where some of the guest rooms were. She paused.A so

The girls turned sharply, their conversation dying on their lips, only to see Dante standing there—his broad frame leaning against the doorframe, the cold night breeze tousling his raven-black hair. His expression was blank, carved in stone, but his eyes—those stormy eyes—were locked, as always, on Alessia. There could’ve been a thousand women standing before him, each one more dazzling than the last, and yet, he would only ever see her. That’s what happened when a man’s heart was tethered to just one girl.Caro rose to her feet, rage swirling in her chest. Her heels clicked sharply against the tiles as she marched toward him, her voice rising with each step.“How could you, Dante?” she spat, eyes blazing. “How could you humiliate her like that? Make a deal—talk like that—so casually about…” her voice cracked, “about how you had her?”Her words echoed into the night. On a normal day, Dante would’ve snapped. He would’ve hurled something venomous in return. But today, he didn’t. He simp
