Chapter 28 Emily’s POV

I tried opening my eyes due to the noise from where I was but my head was aching me so badly. I placed my hand on my forehead and eventually opened my eyes.

The first thing I saw was the white ceiling and a beeping noise beside my ear. I turned and saw a heart monitor.

“My head.” I said aloud and saw people in the room. I couldn't recognise any of their faces but they seemed relieved.

“How are you feeling Emily?” one of them walked up to me and asked.

I guess Emily was my name. “Who are you?” I asked him. My voice was hoarse.

They all looked shocked and stared at the doctor when he walked inside. “You are finally awake Emily. How are you feeling?” he asked me and took my temperature.

“My head hurts and I can't remember anything.” I told him honestly and he nodded.

“What’s wrong doctor? She can't remember me.” the one who called my name asked the doctor in panic.

    I reacted quickly and slapped her twice on the same spot on her cheeks. “How dare you!” I shouted at her and her hands were still at the spot I slapped her.“You keep crossing your limits.     “What the fuck is going on right now.” I said loudly and Ethan looked at me in confusion.“Don't tell me that's the man your sister is currently engaged to.
