MasukSeraphina smiled, watching the man in a mask shoot at the screen, and everything went blank. “Wow,” she mouthed, covering herself very well with the blanket, and she giggled softly, picking up the wine that was at her side, on a small stool. “Who would have thought the table was going to turn this fast?” There was no lie in what she said, given that even Donovan was on the verge of giving up, but in the end, he found a way to drop a masterpiece, and judging by the shock that made its way to Seraphina's face, you could tell that she was not aware that someone was going to die. “Elysia?” The disgust in her tone was undeniable, and not just that, her face also contorted in disgust right after that name left her mouth. “Bitch thought she had a go at it.” While she was in the room, she heard a knock on the door, and in the blink of an eye she emptied the glass, roughing her hair, and not just that, she also acted like she had just lost a beloved one. “Orion,” she called out in a wea
The atmosphere was filled with tension as Brandon managed to make everyone come to a stop, and just like they were under a spell their eyes just remained fixed on the large public display screen. And in silence they remained in that same position, same thing went for Orion whose hands were placed in his pocket with his eyes intently fixed on the screen with both fury and uncertainty burning in it. “All that for what?” Orion asked beneath his breath, but it was audible enough for the person next to him to hear, but even when the person squinted at him, the neutral expression remained on his face, and due to his intimidating aura, the person had no other choice but to look away. Everywhere became still immediately Brandon cleared his throat, shifting in his seat. He was in a dark room, and not just dark, it was small. Barely enough to fit ten people. “I’m pretty sure you all watching this know me,” he paused, inhaling sharply. “If not all, then most of you.” Most of the people the
“An information that actually made them come here,” Elysia whispered as she walked into the elevator, clasping her hands at her front. “Funny.” While in the elevator you could tell that she seemed lost, and after some second she took her phone out of her bag, staring at it for a couple seconds before she placed her hands by her side. “Have you checked the news today?” She asked Leonard who swiftly tore his gaze away from the elevator to Elysia before shaking his head slowly. “No ma, but I can check if you want me—” “Nah,” Elysia's calm tone made him come to a sharp stop, and she pressed her lips together, broadening it slightly. “It’s alright.” “I just wanted to ask a question, but then, I think I should get the answer since I'll be checking it soon.” “I can actually—” “You don't have to,” Elysia cut in sharply, although she made sure her voice was low. Low to the point where Leonard will understand that she was trying to be polite also. “Fine ma,” his baritone voice echoed i
The morning alarm rang at exactly 7:00 am, only that it pulled Elysia out of her thoughts, rather than waking her. She had been awake for more than thirty minutes, maintaining the same position with her gaze directed towards the ceiling and her forearm placed above her forehead, slightly above her eyes. Finally, she got out of bed, walking towards the curtain, and slowly, she opened it, allowing the rays from the sun to illuminate the room. She leaned on the wall, staring at the framed photos that were hung in the room, then the fridge that was designed with stickers. Thanks to Armin and Alina. For the first time since she woke up that morning she smiled, approaching the fridge with her hands still at her back, but then, she came to a stop immediately she heard a knock on her door. It was not too loud, neither was it too gentle. She glanced at the fridge before moving her gaze to the door again, and she walked towards it, opening the door without any questions, and she squinted
“How long have you known about this?” Seraphina's voice pulled Orion out of his thoughts, and even though he was yet to fully wake up, he groaned weakly, rubbing off the sleep that was still tying him to bed. Orion, who was tired from the stress of the previous day, managed to stand up, and with a deep inhale he finally sat up, pressing his lips together for a second. “What's that?” Orion asked, staring intently at Seraphina whose eyes were clouded with tears already. Little did Orion that it was something serious. Serious to the point where she turned on the light at just 3:36 am. “Who did this?” She asked again, this time, wiping off the tears that had reached her face, and with a sniffle, she cleaned her eyes, and that was when Orion saw what was on the phone. It was the photos that Brandon had shown him the previous day. The shock on his face could not be expressed with words, and he shifted back in the bed, squinting at the phone, but it was all a matter of time before he t
“Who's that?” Seraphina asked, staring at the door that led to the bedroom. It was not like her to lock the door, but it was not so at that point. Silence followed after that and at that point no one needed to tell her that the maids won't dare remain silent after she asked a question. She knew fully that even if they did not respond out of respect, they were going to respond because of power. She got out of the bed, striding towards the door with fury in her eyes, ready to lash out her anger on whoever that was, but then, before she opened the door she came to a stop, turning back to look at the clock, it was just some minutes past six so of course, there was no way that was Orion. “Uh?” She raised her brows, staring intently at Orion who just placed a hand on the side of the door.“Did you forget something?” She asked, walking out of the way for him to get into the room, but he said nothing. He did not give an answer to the question, instead, he just took his seat on the couch,
