Elysia took her seat, taking a sip from the cup of coffee, tracing a hand on the rim of the cup. “How did you know?”

Calvin let out a soft exhale, shifting his gaze from Elysia to the new frame that was behind her, one that included a woman in a blue gown, stretching forth her hands to the multitude.

“She called,” he replied, taking his phone out of his pocket and after that he dropped it on the table, pushing it towards Elysia who had been staring at it for a while. “Here.”

At first she moved her eyes to him, then to the phone before picking it up, and her mouth parted open in less than a minute. “This is six days ago Calvin. Besides it's a private number, it can't be reached.”

Calvin nodded, taking back his phone from Elysia. “Yeah, and because of that I called her second number but then, it kept ending in a voicemail.

“Did she tell you which country she's in?”

“No,” Mr. Hemsworth replied to Elysia who nodded again, supporting her chin with her hand. “The only thing I could rec

“Are you sure this is what you want?” It was Elysia's grandmother, and she requested, placing a hand over that of Elysia. “I'm not against it, trust me, as you know all I want for you is the best.” Elysia pressed her lips together, staring at the old hand of her grandmother, but in that moment a smile broadened her lips, and slowly she nodded. “I know what I want,” she replied, still making sure the smile was intact. Elysia knew she'd have to answer tons of questions if that smile faded into something opposite, and without anyone telling her, she did the best she could do at that moment. Her grandmother leaned back in her chair, waving towards the nurse who approached her. “You all can go home for today,” she whispered to them, flashing a smile after they all lowered their heads. Elysia nodded towards them also, and in a short while they exited the room, and in an instant they both locked gazes, even though the whole place fell silent. No one needed to tell Elysia that there was

Orion could be seen seated on a chair, a swivel one to be precise, but a glance at it could tell you that it was different from the one that was in his office. Also, it was easy to know that it was not his office, irrespective of the fact that it screamed familiarity in a way. The sudden gasp that escaped his mouth immediately he raised his head up was enough to make Jordan stop what he was doing. “You are up,” Jordan whispered under his breath, shifting the chair to Orion's field of vision. “It's been sixteen hours, Orion.” “Not like you took some pills or something,” he added, rising to his feet. “You must be hungry.”As Jordan walked around the place Orion said nothing, his gaze just remained on a particular spot, which was the laptop that was placed on Jordan's second table. “Take this,” Jordan stretched a parfait to Orion with two doughnuts, flashing a smile towards Orion who shook his head. “I'm not in the mood for any of these things Jordan,” he gently pushed it away from

“Who are you here to see?” A female cop asked, staring at Seraphina, then the man behind her.Seraphina heaved a sigh, placing her bag on a table that was close to the cop's notebook, and she took out her purse, removing what she needed, which was her card, and immediately after that she tendered it at the front of the cop whose eyes narrowed. “Do what you want with that, but then, you should also know that you are keeping people waiting,” Seraphina said to her, the clicking sound of her tongue filling the air. The cop lowered her head for a second, sliding the card back to Seraphina who just waved at her dismissively. “Mrs. Belmont, I'm sorry,” she whispered to Seraphina who nodded, staring at the place the female cop pointed at. “When you get there, then you are going to tell them the name of the inmate you are looking for,” she explained, clearing her throat, but just as she was about to go, the cop rose to her feet, with the aim of attracting Seraphina and the man to herself.

“I never knew you could be this self-centered, Orion,” that was the first thing she said immediately they both got out of the meeting room, and with a hand folded defensively above her chest she turned back, shaking her head in disappointment.“It's a big slap to the face, just so you know” she added, making sure each of her words sank into his head. Orion, who was still finding it hard to process what was unfolding before his eyes, ran a hand over his face, coming to a stop just as his hands got to his waist. “Self-centered,” he swallowed hard, blinking faster than any normal human would, then with a sad look in his eyes he let out another sigh, rolling his sleeves up to his forearm. He stared at the finger once again, making sure she heard the scoff that made way past his lips. “Are you kidding me right now?” He demanded, stretching his hands towards hers, only for her to take it backwards, staring into his sharp blue eyes that slowly became dull. “Orion, I,” she paused, and so

“Have you forgotten your promise Orion?” Seraphina called his name, making him stop knotting the tie, and he turned to her with a harsh look in his eyes, and even when it was offensive to her she just smiled, sitting up. Orion finally dropped his hands at his side. “What is that?” “I don't think I need to remind you again about going straight to the point when you know I'm going somewhere, Seraphina.” “You told me we'd have a date,” she whispered to Orion in a calm tone, getting out of the bed amidst groans. “Have you forgotten?” “Did I give a specific date?” Orion inquired, and shortly afterwards, a disappointed sigh followed. “If I did, then you can do well to remind me, please.”“You did not,” she answered with a ting of annoyance in her tone but Orion did not pay attention to it.“I told you I'd do that when I'm free,” Orion whispered to her, finally knotting his tie, and when he was done he picked up his briefcase, he walked out of the room, but just as he had anticipated, Se

“How?” Calvin whispered to himself in the room, placing his hands on his head before he finally raised his head, staring at the two numbers that were boldly on a white sheet of paper. He ran a hand over his face, transferring it to the back of his neck, and after a while he picked up the glass of tequila that was close to two glasses placed side by side. “Michael!” Calvin yelled the name, knowing fully that he was definitely not anywhere close to where he was, but right after he yelled that name, he heard approaching footsteps, and for sure, you could tell that he was not walking, judging by how fast the footstep was, and the doorknob of his bedroom twisted, and just as the door opened, Michael walked in. He was a dark man that was arguably in his mid twenties, and one of the features that made him seem older than his age was his physique, it was like that of a body builder, but then, that was not enough to stop him from lowering his head to Calvin who gulped down the content in hi
