Orion inhaled deeply, his eyes flickering open to see Seraphina who leaned on the wall with a hand behind her, and a glass in the other, and she took a sip immediately she noticed he was up.

“You’re up,” she muttered, walking towards him, naked. “Are you going somewhere today?”

He cleaned his eyes, inhaling deeply. “Umm…”

“If it was up to me, I'd say you should stay here,” she bit her lower lips tracing a finger on the faint line in the middle of his chest that moved upward and downward with every inhale and exhale. “What do you say about that?”

“Please turn the television on,” he gestured towards it, and Seraphina complied, tossing the remote on the bed, close to him.

He picked it up and with a faint smile. “Thanks.”

Everything he did, every action he took, it was just to distract himself from what happened back at the literary summit; the difference in Elysia's actions towards him and Damon.

As they say, there's time for everything, a time to weep, and a time to smile. Also, they say legends never die, but not to everyone, since a single person can't be a legend to everyone. It is not an empty word, but a fact… a bitter reality. Same way everyone can't be a legend in our books, we won't matter to everyone, but still, those who you truly matter to will feel your absence when you no longer walk on the face of the earth. Allicia sank onto the couch in her new apartment, letting out a sigh after setting down the last box. She pulled off her glove and gently wiped the dust from a framed photo of herself and Emily, taken a decade ago, if not longer. Then somewhere in ArgonTech was Orion, sitting opposite Nessa who was busy with a laptop right at her front just as Orion instructed her on what to do. It was obvious that if there was anything on his mind at that moment, Emily was definitely not part. “Is that all sir?” She asked, tilting her head to the left just so she could

“That was a surprising and nice speech.” Elysia remarked, using her index finger to brush off the tears that was at the corner of her eyes. “Had no idea he knew her for so long.” “Thought they met at work.” Up until the time he walked down the pulpit, Alicia did not take her eyes off him, not even once, and all that could be seen was hate, disdain and the pain from getting betrayed. Although she was not. “Nice speech?” She scoffed, biting her lower lips. “That does not change the fact that I hate that six feet two bastard!” Initially, Elysia never wanted to say anything but after Alicia's voice soared to a high pitch tone, she wrapped a hand around Alicia's mouth in a calm way. A way that would not make eyes glue to them, and she pulled Alicia's head closer to hers, eyes locking in the process. “Look at me Alicia, look at me,” she ordered in a low tone so as not to distract the priest who was rounding up already, prepared to send her body six feet under at the cemetery, not too

Three days after Emily's death, they concluded on the day of the funeral and in a short time it arrived..About two days ago, in Alicia's apartment they were not able to find the paper and in the end, they could not help but come to the agreement that truly, someone knew about it. There were signs: firstly, the apartment was in disarray; secondly, a single bloody fingerprint, marked the exact spot where the paper had been placed. But they weren’t detectives, neither were they eager to dig deeper, especially since Alicia was adamant that all they needed to do was retrieve Emily’s body to give her proper burial, fearing that the cops might cremate her body if it was not retrieved on time. “I'm not available today,” she whispered over the phone after Mr. Henderson reminded her that they were supposed to have a meeting with ArgonTech about six hours from that time. One hour prior to the time of the burial. “Should I have someone else do it?” His tone was soft on the other end of the

Elysia hesitated for a moment, staring at the phone with Calvin's name on it. She had noticed the way he acted with Emily's presence in the office the other day, but there was no way he could have done it, was there? “You called me,” he appeared to be calm, and that reminded her of when she just met him for the very first time, back at Silverquill- that calm and silent nature of his. “Is there any problem?” There was still silence over the phone and Elysia kept her gaze ahead, staring at the road with her lips compressed into a thoughtful line. “Calvin.” She called out, pinching the bridge of her nose for a second. The latter sat up, clearly confused where he was but he answered. “Yes?” With each passing second she could not help but narrow her gaze more, making a sharp turn to the left just as the police did. “Calvin, have you heard?” For the first time since they had been on the call the silence came from the other end of his line. Still confused, he asked. “Heard what?”“I

“He's here,” a maid announced, moving away from where she was as Calvin stepped into the huge sitting room, spacious enough to contain hundreds of people, and he arched an eyebrow, scanning the place with a hand in his pocket. He inhaled deeply, taking it all in. “Where's she?” “Who sir?” The maid with a band on her left arm asked politely, avoiding his gaze as she noticed he was about to look at her. Without a doubt, you could tell that she was the leader among the other maids that were about ten in numbers. Calvin took his hands out of his pocket, walking towards the maid, calm and precise, and just immediately after he got to her, he placed his index below her chin, slowly raising her head to meet his gaze. “My grandmother,” he whispered, surprisingly, he had that warm look in his eyes. Something that was very rare to see. “Please take me there,” he gestured forward, turning his back on the rest of the maids as the woman led the way, pressing a button in the elevator, and th
