CHAPTER EIGHT

She quickly eats up and goes to the bedroom she shares with her siblings and she quickly touch up her make up and she quickly picks up her traveling box and she walks out of the room and she embraces her grandma and her three siblings comes to embrace.

“ When you get to the United state buy me some clothes and send them to me”one of her sibling says.

“ Buy me a cellphone and send to me, an IPhone, IPhone 13 pro” the 17 years old girl who cooked says.

“ Are you for real? Do you know how much that one cost? Everyone let me get to the United state and get a job and when I save up some money , I will send you all some money, the money we would use to build our own duplex” she says.

“ A duplex? You mean we would live in a duplex, we would all have our own separate rooms? He asks.

“ Yes sweetheart, You all will have a separate room, just let me get to the U. S. First” she says. “ I better get going before I get late for my flight” she says and she quickly picks her box and she drags it out and her family follows her and they stood outside as she walks to road waiting for a public transport.

A bus passes by and she stops it and enters and she waved at them with a smile.

An hour later.

She got to the Airport and she walks in looking around dragging her box.

It’s her first time going to the airport, so she felt amused at everything she sees at the airport.

She followed all the procedures until she got to the immigration, she showed her passport, ticket and visa and she was told to stand aside and she became confused on what happened, her heart began to beat faster as she could see others on the line whenever their passport, ticket and Visa is been checked they are allow to go and few minutes later some security led her into a room where she was interrogated by another immigration officer.

The man was sitting and he uses his hand to motion her to sit which she did and the securities leaves them and stay outside.

“ Do you know you are traveling with an invalid Visa? The man asked in a cool voice and Marylyn was lost with the question asks because she believes she had a valid visa.

“ No sir, my Visa is Valid sir” she says.

“ Where you stamped at the U.S embassy? The man asked.

“ No sir, I got an agent to help me with it sir” she said.

“ Why didn’t you go to the embassy yourself?

“ I was scared of going to the Embassy again after being refuse three times and I asked for advice from some people who advice me to go through an agent that I can’t get an American visa if I do not go through an agent that was why I did my visa through tan agent” she says.

“ Well , I am afraid you have been scam Ma’am because this Visa you have here is not valid, so you can’t board a plane” she says.

“ No, he says that I have my passport stamped” she says trying hard not to break down in tears but she just couldn’t stop the tears from streaming down her face and she opens her passport again and goes to where her passport is being stamped and she looks it all through.

“ That was a whole three years savings from my work and to top it all I quit my job for this, how am I gonna start all over, whose gonna help me get my money back” she says to herself weeping and checking the passport all through, over and over again.

“ Maybe you should meet with your agent and discuss that, securities! She calls the securities. “ Please lead her out of the airport” the immigration says.

“ Please help me, I cannot go back home and start all over again” she says while the securities stood beside her and led her out of the airport it was when she was going out of the airport that something came across her mind that she was supposed to be married.

Flash back ends.

Marylyn mind then returns back to where she is sitting presently in Manuel’s house and that was when she looked around and notice how big and luxury the bedroom is , with it’s beautiful decor and that was when she flashes back to her wild sex with Manuel and she smiles at herself.

“ Damn it! He so good he bed , he made me scream like I have never screamed before not all the office sex I have been doing with my boss to keep my job” she says to herself and she stares at his blazer on the floor and she stood up from the edge of the bed where she was sitting and she smells his suit and she smiles and places it on her wedding dress.

“ Gosh, he smells nice” she says and walks to the mirror.

“ What’s wrong with me? She asks herself. “ Did I just have some kind of flash marriage that I read in the novels or it’s a dream and she lifts her finger and shows it to the mirror.

“ I got married for real and to a big fish but how did all of this happen in a day, how did I became a wife to a man I have never seen in my whole life and someone I never thought I’d meet in my whole life” she sighs and laughs.

“ Why am I even laughing? She asks herself. “ everything right now feels funny to me” she says to herself and she uses her hand to push back her hair while Lots of confusion was going on in Manuel’s mind as he sits in his study.
