"I was going to check on you after, check how the baby's doing now you're awake." She said, staring at me. "You really didn't know?"

I blinked. Suddenly settled. Surprised. In disbelief.

Pregnant.

I was pregnant. How could I be pregnant? I've tried to get pregnant for the longest time but it never clicked. Never!

"Are you okay?" The doctor called, skeptical. "You don't look exactly excited or relieved."
