Tears really fell from my eyes then and I started weeping. Tann's mother didn't know what SHE just did for me now. I've never been anybody's blessing from God before, and the least people I expected is genuinely calling me that.

"Mama, please stop crying...." Jaimie's hand tugged on the tip of my tank top, drawing my attention to him. His cheeks wobbled, and he looked dangerously close to tears too.

"I'm not crying, baby. See...? I'm fine, mom is happy." I gave him a teary smile to emphasize that point.
