CHAPTER 8: Loathing the self
When Tyler reached his house, he quickly took his clothes off and went directly to shower. He needed something cold to cool his head. He couldn't believe he'd ever see Aubrey again, especially as a wife of his friend.
"Jonas, investigate Aubrey Anderson," Tyler told his secretary after coming out of the bathroom.
"I want it by tomorrow." He added.
"Yes, sir."
The next morning,
"This is all I could find about Mrs. Anderson..." Jonas, Tyler's secretary handed him the file.
"It appears she was involved in a hit and run accident five years ago and somehow lost most of her memories," Jonas added.
"The date she had an accident..." Tyler mumbled.
"Yes, it was the day she left you."

Aubrey looked at the shocked facial expression of Tyler upon seeing her child confused. She continuously stared at him with that confused expression as he too continued to wear that shocked expression on his face."Mr. Monroe? Is there a problem?" She asked, snapping Tyler back."Ah no, there's none... Your daughter is just too pretty that I was in awe for a moment." He chuckled lightly."Is that so?" She smiled fakely.Aubrey knew there was something about the way Tyler stares at her daughter that she has no idea about. The truth is, Fiona thought Tyler will propose to her any time soon. She's been deluding herself that Tyler can't live without her in his life. She thought she's the only one Tyler needed. Aubrey was in shock and couldn't believe what had just happened. Rhyan has never once laid his hands on her, but now.
