Molly:

Farrell had denied me sex and any form of physical contact the night before. He slept on the couch to keep me from touching him, so I had to touch myself to the thought of him.

I swear I did not like this man, but I was sexually attracted to him. It would have been preferable if we had not been married—we could have been sexual buddies. He was only having sex for convenience’s sake, but he appeared possessive. He’d thrown a lot of strong words at me since I arrived.

“Good morning, my kitten,” Farrell said, forcing me to open my eyes.

I blinked open my eyes to meet his piercing gray gaze. He sat to my right, his other hand across to my left, leaving me in the middle. He was also dressed for work, in a gray suit, and his waves were defined, almost touching his brow.

“You know the deal I closed with Ernesto and Theo last night?” I just stared wide-eyed when he asked.

“I will go over there and show them the lands, which are quite far away from here.”

“How far?” I asked.
