Overprotective?

I saw Xianre from afar and waved my hand. She looked in my direction and her eyes widened as our eyes met. She tapped Sheldon’s shoulder before pointing her finger to me and ran at my direction. She hugged me as tight as she could as soon as she arrived.

“You’re safe, Leigh! I’m glad!” she declared.

I patted her back. “I’m sorry for worrying you.”

This time, even if it wasn’t my intention to worry her, I still did and I admit that I have a fair share of fault this time. I ignored her calls.

Xianre shook her head. “It's my fault for overreacting.”

“No. It’s my fault this time.”

I looked around exhaustedly and saw Bryce and Sheldon walking calmly behind Xianre. The people who were swarming around earlier as if inside a public market made way for the two as they walked.

“They looked like Princes if not for their rotten attitude. Their looks are just so fine,” Xianre whispered.
