~Daphne’s Pov~

Four days later I stood staring at myself through a mirror as a tailor sorted my dress out from the bottom. I looked unreal. I looked beautiful but I didn't feel it.

"You look absolutely amazing," the tailor gushed.

I didn't reply back. She said the same thing every couple of minutes.

I stared at the dress. It was beautiful. It was a white ball gown with long lace arms that were off the shoulder. The veil flowed behind me. It was a train. I looked like a fairy tale princess exactly how I've always wanted to look on my wedding. I didn't choose the dress, the venue, makeup artist, cake. I didn't even choose my hairstyle. I chose absolutely nothing so as far as I'm concerned this isn't the wedding I've always dreamed of. "You're ready," the tailor stated as she looked down at my dress with pride. She quickly grabbed her things and left the bridal suite.

I moved away from the mirror and looked outside the window. Maybe, this marriage won't be so bad. Suddenly, the door is thrown open.

"Why the fuck are you still in here?," he snarled as he stalked towards me. I didn't move from my spot and only turned my body to look at him.

If he wasn't someone I hate so much, I'd feel so lucky right now. He looked handsome. I can already imagine the amount of girls after him. His dark eyes only made him seem more mysterious.

He seemed around 6"1 but I might be wrong. Let's just say that mathematics isn't my strong suit. All I know is that he uses his height to his advantage as he towers over me, making me feel small and intimidated.

"Wipe that look off your face and act like a happy fiancé," I mimicked what he said to me at the ball.

Without a warning, he grabbed my neck and squeezed it, not enough to make me struggle for air but enough to know that he wouldn't hesitate to squeeze harder. I didn't flinch. I was trained to show absolutely no pain. He squeezed a little harder wanting to see me in pain.

I heard the door being pushed open. "Get your hand off my daughter’s neck," my dad said threateningly as he walked into the room.

Adrian removed his hand and neatened up his suit jacket.

Remember what I was saying about this marriage maybe not being such a bad idea after all? Yeah?

Well, scratch that idea. If my dad hadn't have walked in, Adrian would've squeezed my throat until I passed out.

"Make it quick," Adrian snapped as he left the room. I let out a sigh as I felt my body relax. I didn't even realise how tense I was.

"You look stunning," my dad said with tears in his eyes. I didn't say anything. He literally just saw me getting strangled by my soon to be husband.

Why isn't he stopping the wedding? "You'll be fine," he said but it sounded like he said it more to himself than me.

He held his arm out for me to take. I put my arm in his. He opened up the door and we walked to the room where the ceremony was being held. The music started and people stood up. We walked down the aisle slowly. What if I trip? Would Adrian cancel the wedding? He'll probably kill me.

My dad squeezed my arm, stopping me from doing anything.

Finally, we reached the alter. He begrudgingly grabbed my hands once I stood across him. I watched from the corner of my eyes as my father sat in his seat.

There were no bridesmaids or best men.

There was no flower girl or boy. No one walked down the isles with the rings on an expensive pillow. To me, this wedding seems more like a funeral.

The officiant began to speak. I tuned out for the most part until Adrian squeezed my hands really hard. "I-I," I stammered. I looked towards my family who were sat near the front. Sara looked like she was on the verge of tears, my mom looked sad and my dad was slowly nodding head, wanting me to say yes. I glanced up at Adrian to see a vein popping out of his forehead letting me know his patience was running thin.

"I do."

He quickly slipped the ring onto my finger before dipping me. His head covered mine, making it seem to guests that we had kissed. I didn't expect to be kissed anyway.

Claps could be heard from the guests. No cheers.

No laughter. No chatter. Simply claps.

There was no reception. Tables of food and beverages were lined up on the sides.

We walked around for a couple of moments, accepting well wishes from others.

There was no bouquet throwing or family pictures.

As I was being tugged outside the venue, i glanced back. "I need to say goodbye to my family," I told him.

"No," he shrugged carelessly.

"What the fuck is your problem?," I asked him getting fed up of the way he was treating me.

"You."

"Why'd you marry me then?," I burst out.

He rolled his eyes and pushed me into the back of the limo. "Cause I sure as hell didn't want to marry a jackass like you."

"Listen here and listen closely because I'm not gonna repeat myself twice," he said, his voice going dangerously low. A chill ran down my spine. "This is an arrangement.

Nothing emotional or sexual. You mean nothing to me."

The whole car ride back to my new home was awkward and quiet. Finally, the limo stopped in front of a mansion that's possibly bigger than my home. My old home.

He got out and slammed the door shut. I rolled my eyes at his childishness. I pushed the door open and stood outside. "You should've just bought a banner that says 'Welcome to your own personal hell'."

"And I should've killed you when I first met you," he retorted. "There's a lot of things I haven't done that I should've."

I let out a scoff as I pushed past him and entered the house. He followed behind and closed the door.

Daphne’s POVMy head throbbed. I slowly opened my eyes before closing them again. The sunlight burning them harshly. The smell of disinfectant made it almost hard to breathe. The beeping noise next to my head gave me a headache as it seemed to get louder and louder. Finally, I managed to open my eyes. I glanced around the room.An IV was in my arm as I was hooked up to something. Wires upon wires came out of my nightgown connecting to a machine. I was in an empty hospital room. Before I even moved, the door pushed open and a doctor walked in.He checked my heartbeat and all the other random stuff they do before giving me a cup of water and leaving. Just as he left another person entered. I drank the whole cup of water like it was a shot before slamming it down. I licked my cracked lips, feeling the need for some chapstick. My eyes widened in shock. "You miss me?,"Stephan asked with a smile on his face. He was acting like everything was normal."Where've you been this whole time?," I

"Twins?," I questioned. She nodded her head."I told my parents," she said. "They were pissed.I mean, who wouldn't be? I'm 18 and I'm pregnant.""But they're okay now, right?""Yeah. I guess they have to be now. Because of the whole Stephan thing, they think I might end up being a target so they're sending me to Italy. That way I'll be kept out of harms way. I just need to tell Lucas before I go.""That's good. You'll be safe there.""Should I call him now? I'd rather not meet up with him. I'd probably end up crying." I shrugged my shoulders, telling her it's up to her."If you want to." She grabbed her phone and put it on loud speaker wanting me to hear it. It rang for a couple of seconds before he answered it."Rose ," he breathed out through the phone. "I've been waiting for your call.""Lucas , listen, I went to the doctor and I'm four months pregnant," she said, cutting to the chase."Four?, "he questioned. "So you're keeping it?""Yeah, don't sound too excited about it," she

Now that we were both fully clothed, we were now panicking. "I'm not on birth control," I said as I paced back and forth."Can you not take it now?," he asked."Morning after pill, yeah. But not birth control ones.""Take it then!," he said.I narrowed my eyes at him. "Do you not think I would if I had the fucking pills?""Shit.""Sebastian, we have things to do," his mother said, stopping him from leaving and going to the store for me.He let out an annoyed sigh. "I have things to do too," he said flatly as he ushered me out of the door with him."She's definitely going to flip out when we come back," I said as I slid into the car. He shrugged his shoulders."I'll drop you off at Rose’s and I'll go get the pills. I got some other stuff to take care of.""Why didn't you leave me at home then?," I asked."So I can worry about you?," he scoffed out."My mother would eat you alive.""She'd love to bury me alive too. "We are not doing it in the shower again," I laughed as he got under the boiling hot water. "I didn't even get to finish my shower last night because of you.""Fuck!," he cussed. "Are you trying to burn me?" I shrugged my shoulders and turned down the temperature for the big baby.Without a word, I handed him my shampoo, demanding him to wash my hair. I have no problem with doing it myself but it just feels much more relaxing when he does it.I closed my eyes and leaned back slightly, accidentally letting a moan slip out. "Oh my god!""God?," he said with a chuckle. "He can't save you from my amazing hands." His fingers moved skilfully in my head, hitting all of the right spots."You're amazing at this," I told him."I'm amazing at some other stuff too," he shrugged with a smirk."Shut up and wash my hair," I demanded as he began to wash away the shampoo. When he finished his hands trailed down to my bare shoulders. I narrowed my eyes at him."What?," he said, acting innocent."You're

I sat around my room, waiting for something, anything really. It's only been a couple of hours since Valeria has been here and I already feel like a prisoner. Everyone else was holed up in the office because of Valeria but that didn't stop Vin from texting every two minutes to see if Rose had texted me. It was nice to know that he's giving her the space she asked for but it's getting annoying.Suddenly, my phone buzzed once again. I let out an exasperated sigh as I roughly grabbed it and checked who it was.Honey, the balls been pushed back a few weeks- DadWhy is he telling me this?We need to talk- MarcoWhy's my brother texting me now too? This is some next crazy shit. Marco and I don't really interact. We just tend to stay away and out of each other's way. It's easier for us like that. Three loud knocks sounded through the door.Sebastian snored loudly, not even caring."Sebastian, honey!," his moms voice sounded loudly. I sat up and quickly hit him, causing his snoring to stop abruptly."What?," he asked, huskily. God, that morning voice gives me butterflies."Your mom's here," I whisper-yelled as I jumped out of bed and ran around his room naked, trying to find all my clothes. She knocked again. "I know you're awake. I can hear you moving. I'm coming in," she said loudly. Why the fuck is she coming in? "I'll meet you downstairs," he said loudly. "I'm in the middle of something!""Ok. Hurry up! I'm gonna go and find your wife," she said as she spat out the word 'wife' with disgust. I almost forgot we were married I'm so used to just being his girlfriend.Still hates me. That's good to know."Fuck," I whispered panicked as I pulled my clothes on. He got out and quickly got changed. We stood in front of each other quietly for a moment as we realised what's gonna happ
