Keirah lies unconscious on her bed in her hometown house. Wearing an oxygen tube. It is a tiny apartment compared to Luciano's penthouse or cottage. Keirah stares awake. She can hear beeping machines and distant voices. She blinks her eyes open. Dr. Fred's face comes on Keirah's eyes focus. Soft morning light filters through the window, casting a warm glow across her face. She blinks as her eyes wander into a room that does not feel like hers. They filled the room with the clinical scent of antiseptic. Keirah glances around, taking in her surroundings. The room is clean and sterile, decorated with flowers and green plants. They connect tubes and wires to her arms, monitoring her vital signs. The only thing that looks the same is the window offers her adequate sunlight and a view of a beautiful garden outside. In the middle of the thick forest, which stretches as far as the eye can see, the shiny rays of sunlight penetrate the deep trees into the wet ground. Among the bushes and leaves scattered on the ground, Luciano, dressed in camouflaged gear, cautiously sleeps still on the ground. He filled his backpack with bullets, guns, and everything he needed. The high cliff is the only landing area around this thick forest that surrounds his cottage. In his one hand, he holds a string of small handheld devices he has assembled as a remote detonator. This hand stays still with no movement. With the map memorized on where he set the bombs, Luciano views the locations of each explosive through the binoculars in his other hand. He has put explosive devices strategically along the trees, hidden within the leaves and branches. He took extreme care to ensure they were all virtually indistinguishable from their surroundings. LUCIANO'S POV One second, James is giving me the worst news in my life, and the next second, there is a knock on my head. The car at the cliff was a distraction. To take me out into the real trap. After I tried with everything in me to bring the council members to my side and plead with them to sell my uncle out and failed. I snapped and exploded trying to kill the council members. The next thing I know. I am now locked in a dungeon. They had to take me out with the superpowers they were using to make me feel blood and test it on my mouth while making it impossible to move a muscle in my body in my head and body. They carried me out of the meeting unconscious into a dungeon. I have just gained my consciousness. And the first thing I am doing is looking for a way out. Fuck… my life circumstances are turning from bad to worse. There are only three cells in this dungeon. On the left cell to mine. The cell is empty. Almost a whole month in this dungeon has passed by. Day and night, I sit here and wonder what happened out there in the world. The time in here has made me insane. I am completely crazy. There is so much noise in my head. Fenrir used to push them off. And we could talk about my childhood to keep me occupied. But with no food for Fenrir, he sleeps a lot and the thoughts in my head in this silent dungeon are almost killing me. At night it gets worse and I truly at this point would rather die than stay here for any more second.I feel abandoned. I feel betrayed by God and the universe. I can't put it into an explanation of how I feel lost in my mind. I swear I truly hate being kidnapped. I am losing more of my mind every second I stay in here. The nightmares that surround me like they do to Maria are like scary songs every night. The first few days, her screams frightened me. But now we are both shouting in our dreams alternatively. She sometimes starts and I follow and vice versa.
