“Please,” The prisoner begged, “You don’t have to do this.”

Asher’s eyes burned. Why could he not do this? His mate was stolen from him, why did he not deserve to at least transfer his rage to this man who had helped make it happen.

“I’ll talk, anything you want, I promise.” The whimpered, his voice pitchy and breathy.

Asher paused in his steps. “Then start talking, and fast.”

The man nodded furiously, his body visibly deflating with relief. “Where is Sebastian?” Asher asked coolly, the hammer hanging casually by his side.

The fear was back in the man’s eyes. He looked up at Asher, his gaze with utter defeat, as he shook his head,

“No?” Asher’s eyebrows twitched with impatience.

“I really don’t know. I swear.” The man whimpered, voice so shaky it was barely comprehensible.

“If you don’t know, then you’re not at all useful to me.” Asher growled lowly.
