THE ENDLESS NAG OF FATHER AND CHILD

The smell of the espresso on the table crossed her nose, she sniffed it in, rolling briefly on the bed. She could vividly remember sitting on the pavement and having a nice discussion with him under the starry sky. How she got on her bed was not a mystery to her. It was definitely not the first time he has carried her to her bed while she was asleep.

She stretched her body with a yawn that signalled her stomach was craving food. Taking a sip of her espresso, she stood up to wash her face. There were chattering in the living room, she was not surprised, maybe Mr Michaelson having his early morning interrogation on Liam, She thought. Slowly she sneaked downstairs not wanting to disturb whosoever it was that was discussing, she tried not to step too hard to avoid being noticed. Unfortunately, Katy spoilt the whole show, popping her head through the curtains, she yells

"Good morning Miss silent toes!"

"Shh!" Lia tries to hush her, but it was too late, all attention was diverted on her.
