SHARON'S POV.

It's already been two months since I found out that I am Alpha Roland's mate. He has been treating me so nicely ever since I became his mate, but the problem I have with him is that I rarely see him in the daytime, but he is very available at night because of the nature of his work. Roland loves both of us being together so much, and anytime I decline his offer, he grumbles and becomes angry, which makes me try as much as possible to always meet his need, which is one of my responsibilities as his mate, just that he was asking too much.

For some time, I’ve been having pains all over my body. I’ve taken self-medication as I have little knowledge about drugs because my father worked with a pharmacy and would always call Sandra and me, teaching us about some of the drugs and their effect on the body, but they were not working. After some time, the symptoms will come back again. I was not responding to treatment, so I decided to visit the pack doctor.

At the hospital, the door checked me and I went through multiple tests, including both blood and urine tests.

When the pack doctor came back with the result, he was excited to announce to me that I was two months pregnant. I was not expecting it so fast but was also excited to hear the news.

I told the doctor to keep it a secret while I go to tell Alpha myself that I'm carrying his children.

The pain in my body was so much but I managed myself and started heading to Roland's office to break the news to him. Surely he’ll be excited just the same way I am. We’ll be starting up our family.

I was on my way to tell him that I’m carrying the heir, not just one heir, but two, which is what every Alpha wants and needs. I was so carried away in my thoughts that I did not smell my sister as I walked down the hall. I first heard it when I was standing directly over the door to Roland's office. The moaning and groaning were coming from his office.

Lena started whimpering in my head. Anytime, my wolf whimpers, it's a sign that something is wrong somewhere.

As I slowly opened the door, the sound got louder. I pushed the door open completely and I froze in shock. Here I saw my mate having an affair with my own sister right in his office.. I felt a chill run over my body. I felt the ground would open and I jumped inside. My heart was racing so fast that it almost left its position.

They saw me, but there was no atom of remorse over their actions; instead, they continued what they were doing. I saw my sister sending me an evil smile. The scene was so disgusting and heartbreaking and I could not stand it. I quickly turned to leave when I heard Roland's voice.

“Don't step an inch out of there. Stand there and watch us.” He commanded.

In the werewolf kingdom, once an Alpha gives an instruction, it's carried out immediately, not later. Nobody dares disobey the Alpha, not even his mate.

So I just stood there frozen and in pain.

Suddenly, Sandra screamed out I'm pleased. I knew she did that to make me feel worse and more pain.

This is one bad thing her mother deposited in her towards me and she has been carrying it around till now that she is 18.

Pulling himself from Sandra, he placed her in his office chair, admiring her before me. I quickly removed my face.

“I hope you enjoyed the show, my darling mate?” I can't find the words to speak, but I shook my head, feeling tears streaming down my face. He let out a loud laugh.

Well, I believe you're surprised. But how on earth did you believe that you’ll be enough for me? Sorry to disappoint you, my darling mate. My sweet Sandra, should I tell her?

He turned to Sandra who was giggling.

“Please do, baby.” She tells him seductively.

“I’ll make Sandra my Luna and chosen mate. She knows how to attend to my needs unlike you.”.

“Oh, well. I, Roland Martin, Alpha of the Eden Pack, reject you, Sharon Dukes, as my mate and Luna. Accept it anytime you want or when the pain of seeing your sister with me.” He says, looking at me with cold eyes, letting go of me, and his hand with the command.

I could not bear everything happening, so I ran out of the forest into the forest.

Because I was pregnant, I was allowed to shift during my first two months, so when I reached the forest, I quickly shifted into my wolf, which is pure white.

“Please Lena, get us away from here.” She just did that. She kept running and running, without stopping.

“I am sorry, Sharon. Don't worry you'll be fine.” Lena said.

“I’ll be fine. Thank you, Lena.

She didn't utter any other word as she kept running. She only stops at any river to take some water then she continues. I’ve never seen a wolf as strong as Lena. Just like every other wolf, she doesn't talk much but believes so much in action.

She was still running when she started smelling a scent around that signalled that some wolves were around, and they could be rogues.

“Sharon, hope you’re with me because if they show up, I'll launch an attack on whatever it is before it attacks us. I believe so much that they may be rogues. The growling kept becoming clearer which means they were coming closer. They finally appeared and stood in front of us. They were actually rogues. They were looking so dirty and unkempt. We were already lunging an attack on them when the two of them ran away as fast as their legs could carry them.

“Sharon, let me go after them,” Lena said, the war mode had already been activated.

“Don't bother yourself, let's proceed.”

—---

It's been three days since I ran away from the Eden Pack and Lena has been running non-stop. She only stops to drink water. She has not eaten anything, like me. She started getting tired. At one point, I tried to lend my energy but I was as exhausted as Lena.

Suddenly, I felt my bones transform, and I was so tired that I passed out next to a stream.

  • THE PREGNANT SHE WOLF   Chapter 203: Legacy

SHARON’S POV NINE YEARS LATERNine years slipped by faster than winter snow melting off the pines. I stood on the raised stone platform overlooking the Jordan pack gathering circle, wind tugging at the hem of my silver-trimmed cloak. Below me, hundreds of faces turned upward, some proud, some curious, a few openly skeptical. My son Daemon stood beside Morris at the center of the circle, his shoulders squared, his chin lifted. At sixteen he already matched his father in height, though his frame still carried the lean lines of youth. His wolf had come early, fierce and sudden two moons ago during a storm that rattled the windows of our home. The shift had torn through him like lightning; he’d howled so loud the pack heard it for miles.Morris raised one hand and the crowd hushed instantly.“Jordan pack,” he called, his voice carrying clear and deep. “Today we honor the blood right. This land, this strength, has always belonged to the line of its true alpha. We all know the story of ho

SHARON’S POV I woke to the soft gray light slipping between the curtains and the low rumble of Morris’s voice somewhere close. My body still carried yesterday’s delicious ache, muscles loose and heavy in the best way. I stretched, sheets sliding over bare skin, and cracked one eye open.Morris sat in the wide armchair by the window, shirtless, one twin cradled against each shoulder. Luna’s tiny fist gripped his collarbone while her brother, Elias, slept with his cheek mashed against Morris’s chest. Both babies still had that newborn flush, cheeks round and pink, little mouths working in their sleep. Morris’s head tilted down, lips brushing Luna’s dark curls as he murmured something too quiet for me to catch.I propped myself on one elbow. “Did you get any sleep at all?”He glanced up, his eyes looked tired but bright. A slow smile curved his mouth. “Not much. Luna decided three in the morning was party time. She woke up screaming like the world was ending until I walked her around th

MORRIS’ POV I sat behind the wide oak desk in my study, elbows planted on the polished surface, fingers steepled while Kelly paced in front of the fireplace. The fire snapped and hissed, throwing orange light across the maps spread between us. We’d been at it for hours, plotting supply lines, debating which border forts needed reinforcing first if the southern packs decided to test our new strength. My head throbbed from the endless what-ifs, but I kept my voice steady. Kelly deserved that much.“Another two companies on the eastern ridge,” I said, tapping the parchment. “We can’t leave the river crossing exposed.”Kelly stopped mid-stride, rubbed the back of his neck. “You really think the southern packs will stay neutral forever? One whisper from their alphas and—”The door creaked open.Sharon poked her head inside, cheeks flushed, eyes glittering like she’d just won a war single-handed. My heart gave a stupid, eager thud. She looked alive, dangerously alive.“Hello, husband.”The

  • THE PREGNANT SHE WOLF   Chapter 200: The Garden That Remembers

SHARON’S POV A couple of months had passed since the twins arrived, and the days had started to feel like they belonged to us again. Luna and Elias were no longer the fragile little bundles we brought home from the hospital; they had filled out, their cheeks round and pink, their eyes bright and curious. Luna already had a laugh that could stop the whole house, and Elias had taken to grabbing anything within reach—my hair, Morris’s beard, Daenerys’s braid—with a grip that made us all wince and laugh at the same time.Today the sun was high and kind, the kind of warm September afternoon that makes you forget winter ever existed. I decided it was time.I loaded the four children into the SUV myself while Morris finished a call with the southern border patrol. Daenerys helped me buckle Elias into his car seat, chattering the whole time about how she was going to show her baby sister the prettiest flower in the garden. Daemon insisted on carrying Luna’s blanket—“because she might get co

  • THE PREGNANT SHE WOLF   Chapter 199: Home coming Fire

MORRIS’ POV The truck rolled through the gates of Crescent Moon territory just as the sun dipped low enough to paint the sky in streaks of orange and rose. I kept one hand on the wheel and the other resting on Sharon’s knee, thumb brushing slow circles over the blanket tucked around her. She sat in the passenger seat, eyes half-closed, head tipped against the window, but every few seconds she opened them to check the two car seats strapped in the back. Luna slept with her tiny mouth open, one fist curled near her cheek. Elias had his head turned toward his sister, little chest rising and falling in perfect time with hers. Both of them swaddled so tight they looked like small white loaves.Sharon’s voice came out soft, almost a whisper. “They’re still breathing.”I glanced at her. “Still breathing.”She let a small, tired and radiant smile play on her lips, then she squeezed my hand. Kelly followed us in the second vehicle with Daenerys and Daemon. I could see them in the rearview m

  • THE PREGNANT SHE WOLF   Chapter 198: The Quiet After

SHARON’S POV I couldn’t sleep. The hospital room was dim, lit only by the soft blue glow from the monitors and the faint hallway light sneaking under the door. My body ached in places I didn’t know could ache—stitches pulling every time I shifted, breasts heavy and tender, lower back still throbbing from seventeen hours of labor—but none of it mattered. Not really. The pain felt distant, like it belonged to someone else.I propped myself higher against the pillows, careful not to tug the IV line in my hand. Morris sat in the chair beside the bassinets, shirt sleeves rolled up, collar open. He had one elbow braced on his knee, chin resting on his fist, watching Luna and Elias sleep. The twins were bundled in white blankets, tiny chests rising and falling under the warming lights. Luna’s mouth worked in little sucking motions, like she was already dreaming of milk. Elias had one fist curled near his cheek, the other hand open as though reaching for something he couldn’t quite find.Mo

Sharon’s POVI have never hated anyone the way I hated Aemond in that moment. But I hated myself more for saving him.“You’re insane,” I spat, my voice trembling with disbelief more than anger. “I saved your life. Do you understand that? I saved you and you still intend to do this?”Aemond didn’t e
