Chapter 13

My phone rang, and it was Amanda calling.

"Hi, Janet, where are you now? Amanda asked

" Still at the hotel, come to room 104," I said

"I'll be there in 5," she said

I heard a knock, I rushed up to get the door, knowing it was Amanda.

"Hey, honey, this is your dress," she said handing it over to me we have to be snapping but I'll still love to hear all about it " she replied with a gaze full of mischief.

"I don't know what to tell you, silly," I said averting my gaze from hers.

"I know you don't want to tell me all about it, but I'll get it out of you," she said standing up to tickle me.

"Stop it, Amanda, aren't we late for the meeting "I said trying to stop her from coming further while I ran in between changing and almost tripping.

" Okay, nothing happened " I lied

"How does he look, hmmm, don't tell me he was not attractive "

"I didn't see his face," I said she gave me that look that could wake even the dead. I smiled nodding my head for her to see the fact that I wasn't lying this
