I wasnt expecting to meet Rodriguez here of all places and even when he told me about his meeting i thought it was just coincidence .

"Hi" I said sounding embarrassed

"Hi , Emily "he said pleased .

Maybe i heard it wrongly , we needed to sign the contract and finally meet in person .

" Is this what you said you're working on that will make your mom grounded " I asked wanting to know .

"Yes , am i would love for it to be kept a secret for awhile thats is why we are signing a document . I wanted to know ,who is carrying my child but I'm pleased that its you" .

"Oh " I didn't know if i should be pleased

"So why are you doing this , because of your father's health . Do you have an idea of what you'll be going through and the process of getting pregnant" he bluntly said

"I know the process of getting pregnant and have done some research about it . And the first process is actually the hardest " I told him.

"Do you know , they'll be sticking needles into you not just once " he said .

I didnt know if he was concern or just wanted me to opt out .

"I deal with it when i have to " i enlightened him .

"You are going to need my egg which means the child will biologically be a part of me and have my blood "

"So " he asked

"It matters to me "

"It shouldn't be thats why you'll be signing a contract." he said as a matter of fact ."I'll be paying you double , since you're doing this for money " he said .

I didnt like the way he said it, He was painting me like a bad person and a gold digger which i wasnt .

"I'm doing this not because i have a choice , but for my family" . Making it clear to him ."My father needs to pay for his surgery and hospital bills , My mom pretends like everything is fine but deep inside i know she acting strong in front of us but tired . All i want is to have my family and life back again" i said even if i sound desperate to him .

"I'll love for you to be my surrogate . I want a woman who'll carry my child to be decent and you fit that category , so be both need each other's help "

He was giving me a mouth watering deal which i couldn't reject . I really need to get the money soon . My family needs it this is my chance to be of help .

"I'll think about "

"I gave you a 48 hours to think about previous so you can tell me your decision afterwards.". he said .

"How soon can you move in " he asked impatiently .

"I cant move in soon " I said he wasnt giving the time to think

"The ball will be starting next week and you need to be prepared "he said softly

I thought he was all about the surrogacy , i have to tell my mom about some of it but not entirely the truth at least so she could know .

"This week maybe " I suggested.

"I'll send a car to get you tomorrow , and pack for a long stay , we dont have much time on our side "he said in a commanding tone .

"Tomorrow is too soon " i said in dismay

"We have a lot of things to accomplish "

"Accomplish ,do i look that unpresentable to you

".

"When i put my mind to something or anything at that i make it work" he said ignoring my words like it meant nothing .How can i forget the all mighty Rodriguez .

I didnt like the idea of him sending a car to come get me , i needed time to think about all this happening so fast .

Reminiscing

Rodriguez had found out about my infatuation for him were they were little and had been to harsh with his words. He had seen me as an unattractive 13 year old which him and his cousin talked about . I had been flat as a board , i could still remember when the boys had appeared near the green house and i overheard rodriguez words which stil pierce me deeply .

He had been too shock , he didnt have the ability to hide his emotion but he could perfectly because she didnt know what he was thinking . He had regretted his words right when he found out which his gaze gave him away but he never said or apologized about it .

I didn't care about the ball neither the bet , she just wanted her father to be fine she reminded herself . If rodriguez was willing to help her she doesn't mind doing whatever that could pay and get her all the money she needed .

"Okay , give me a call when you've made your decision ". he said reaching for his card in his back pocket .

I nodded slowly "I Will" . his finger tip touching mine slowly .

We stood close to the door staring at each other

and since i signed the document , i turned and reach for the door knob.

"Don't forget 48 hours " he said .

"I know and I'll give you a call " i said almost rolling my eyes .

"I'm a very impatient person "he warns .

I smiled Rodriguez had never been patient , the almighty rodriguez .
