I blinked my eyes open and saw the same maids from yesterday standing in my room.
“Good morning, Ma'am,” they greeted in unison.
“I really don't have any privacy. Jesus Christ,” I said, sitting up and shaking my head.
“Our apologies, Ma'am. The Don said to get you ready for breakfast,” one said.
“I'll have mine later. I want to sleep some more,” I replied, then blinked, waiting for them to leave.
“Our apologies again, Ma'am, but when the Don gives us an order, we have to carry it out, or we'll be punished.”
I wanted to shout, “Who cares?” but I noticed how anxious they always were whenever they came to my room. I could only imagine what sort of punishment he gave them.
“What are your names?” I asked, getting out of bed and stretching.
“I'm Miriam.”
“And I'm Caterina.”
“Hm. Miriam and Caterina.” I tasted their names on my lips. “Well, just like yesterday, I don't need your help today. I'll get ready and be out on my own.”
“Ma'am, the Don specifically said to ensure you're fully dressed,” Caterina said.
“For fuck’s sake! Ugghh!” I groaned, irritated at how long I'd have to condone all of this. “So what now? You want to bathe me?”
They looked at the floor and didn't respond. I let out a loud sigh and went into the bathroom.
A few minutes later, I stared at my reflection in the vanity mirror. Miriam and Caterina had dressed me in a yellow sunflower dress and a pair of yellow slippers. My blonde hair was left to drop in beautiful curls and my makeup was mild.
I wanted to complain but there was really no need for the drama, so I followed them out of the room.
“Do you mind?” I hissed at the security men following behind me.
“There you are, love,” Pierre said with a pleased tone, but he didn't smile. I walked over and took my seat on a chair in the indoor dining area.
He fixed his eyes on me like my body was a magnet.
“It's rude to stare, Mister,” I spared him a glare, but that didn't stop him.
“That reminds me, there's something I need to ask you about,” I charged and was interrupted by his closest man—I think Nikolai—who walked over and whispered something in his ear.
“Eat up, love. You can ask me whatever in the plane,” Pierre said as Nikolai stepped away.
My eyes widened in disbelief. “What plane?” I asked, my heart beating twice as fast.
“We're going to Italy,” Pierre said normally with his usual expressionless face.
I stood up abruptly and the chair dragged loudly behind me. “What do you mean ‘we're’? I'm not flying anywhere with you!” I screamed.
“Don't. Don't raise your voice at me, love. I keep telling you this,” Pierre said, still eating.
“Or what? You'll hit me? I won't be surprised you do that now,” I said, but he ignored me still.
“Let's go,” he finally said as he dabbed his mouth with a napkin and stood up.
“You can't kidnap me and fly me all the way to Italy without my consent. It's been ten fucking years and we've both changed. I've moved on. I have a life away from here! I have a… a career I'm pursuing. My wedding was two weeks away from when you took me!” I roared.
In a swift movement, Pierre grabbed the back of my neck, pushed everything off the dining table, and slammed me forward onto it. I screamed a cry as he bent over me from my back, his other hand pinning both my hands behind me.
“I don't care about your life before now. Moving forward, everything you do revolves around me. You have to fall in love with me again. I hate that you make me get rough with you, but that will change when you learn to be submissive.” He whispered in my ear, then bit lightly on my ear lobe.
I could feel his dick hardening against my butt as I wriggled forcefully.
“You can't force love, Pierre. Ten years is way too long to keep feelings for a ghost. Please let me go. I don't want to fly anywhere with you.”
“A ghost?” He chuckled bitterly. “I was released two years later. I had nobody visit me while I was locked away, yet I returned to look for you only to find out you relocated that same year of my arrest. Did you move on then? Did you even actually love me, or you were with me out of pity?” He said, the hurt in his voice evident.
Regardless of the change and his now-assumed cold demeanor, it was still easy to read Pierre's emotions.
“I loved you. Emphasis on the past tense. And even if I would now, abducting me like a psycho zeroed all your chances.” I stopped struggling when I felt his now rock-hard dick.
“Why did you stop struggling?” he whispered in a hoarse voice and stuck his tongue into my ear. I flinched and lay still, unsure of what to do. He had me pinned down, and struggling was only giving him pleasure.
“You don't know how happy I'll be to put you in place—my way.” He kept whispering. He let go of my neck and raised my dress up slowly as his hands tickled my thigh. I panicked and began struggling again, thrashing as hard as I could, to no avail.
When he got the access he wanted, he pressed two fingers on my vagina through my panties, and I moaned involuntarily, then squeezed my thighs together, locking his hand in there. Wrong move.
I released my thighs, and he pulled his hand away and took a very deep breath.
“We still have time for that. So, I'll be your good boy again and be patient,” he said and let go of me.
“Bring her,” he ordered his men just before I could attempt running again, and they grabbed me right on time.
I thrashed and screamed my lungs out, but the men were ten times stronger. One of them picked me up and flung me over his shoulder, but that didn't stop me.
You don't want to imagine the car ride to the terminal or the struggle of getting me into the plane.

PIERREI was angry. I shouldn't have reacted that way. I wanted Tessa to feel safe with me, but I ruined everything by killing human beings like animals in front of her.She was on a drip, and a nurse had attended to her after that gory sight she witnessed. She vomited a lot until she became weak and cried so much she developed a fever.I lay beside her on the bed, stroking her soft hair as she slept deeply. It was the early hours of the morning. She twitched her eyes slightly before opening them slowly and panicked when she saw me, so I retracted my hand immediately. She tried to move away from me but was too weak, so she lay back.I felt dirty. Unfit to touch her. I was doing everything wrong, and I wanted to correct it.“I'm sorry. I lost my temper yesterday and went an extra mile—”“How often do you do that?”I was silent for a while. “More often than you can imagine.”“You know I'll never love you, right?” she said, and the words stirred up pain in my chest.“I know. That is why
TESSAIf I thought the previous mansion was opulent, then this one was heavenly. I stared in awe at the estate when we drove in, wondering the extent of Pierre’s riches. I could swear on his life, this wasn't clean wealth. When we got inside, a few maids were present, and two of them led me to a room that was ten times bigger than the previous one I stayed in.I walked into a massive closet inside the massive room and saw both male and female wears. I picked out a forest green dress and held it in front of my body, admiring it in a full length mirror. I couldn't believe I was in Italy. Maybe I would have been a little more excited if I were here with a familiar and more comforting person, or if I were here to shoot a scene for a blockbuster Hollywood film starring as the female lead with Michael B. Jordan. But no!I was stuck here with my psychotic ex who was now a mafia don and, for some reason, still so obsessed with me.I took a few steps forward and placed my forehead on the mirro
PIERREI sat opposite to my Tessa in the plane. She was tied up, her face wet with tears as she watched the clouds pass by. She was clearly exhausted from fighting and had given up. I hated seeing her unhappy, but if that was what it would cost to make her mine, then so be it.I took a sip of champagne and began to use my phone, unmoved by our situation. My men looked exhausted. They were seated scattered across the plane's seats. Nikolai and Antonio had already dozed off.I let out a frustrated sigh and tossed my phone onto the table between Tessa and me, then placed the champagne flute on it.“Do you want to talk?” I asked her. After counting to twenty in her head, she turned to me.“Ask me anything, and I'll answer,” I said.“How did you change this much?” she breathed out.“Spending two lonely and depressing years in jail was all it took to create this monster. I thought of my life after I got out, and you were the only person in the picture. I was hurt you didn't come to see me…

PIERREMy heart practically bled when I thought back to the vile look on Tessa's face when she saw me for the first time in years. She was different. She hated me, and I cannot even begin to explain how that felt. The woman I spent years searching for now despised everything about me. How could she forget so soon? How could she not want me back too?Well, whether she did or not, I was not letting her go. She was the only closest thing to a real family I had, and I still loved her as much as I did back then. I was broken and empty, and she was the only woman who could fill that void. I was going to win her love back, easily or forcefully. We had dinner in awkward silence, but I did not mind. I let her process whatever was running through her mind.We were not done eating when Nikolai walked in and whispered something in my ear. I kept a stern face, trying to mask the angry yet satisfied expression threatening to show.“I'll be there shortly,” I dismissed him.“Get up. I'm taking you ba
TESSAI stood mortified, by the window overlooking the vast landscape of nature. There was a beach a distance away, and the building I was in seemed to be built on top of a hill or mountain. My mind was a mess as so many thoughts flowed in at once.I remembered all our fun memories together, the good and bad days, I remembered how heart broken I was when I lost him, and then I remembered Andrew. I met him at the right time, and it wasn't easy to forget Pierre and grow, but I did eventually, and Andrew was always by my side. We had beautiful memories too. And now, my heart tried to make me pick between them both, but there was no choosing.I had moved on a long time ago and now I was engaged to Andrew. No hassle. It's him I loved now, and even if that changed a little, there was nothing I could do. I certainly won't repay his years of patience and support with such disappointment.I heard the door unlock and creak open, but I didn't look back.“Good day, ma'am. The Don sent us here to
