Lyon, Kael and Elora all stormed his parents' chamber. What they had witnessed wasn't something they could keep to themselves. Something was about to happen and it was time they all tried to figure it out.

Tristan and Isabella were shocked to see them, especially Elora as they sensed the strange bond between her and Lyon. But decided to deal with that later.

“What's going on?” Tristan asked.

“Something is not right Dad,” Lyon said. “There's something you both need to see.”

With a look of dread in both their eyes, they followed them to the room where they had found the symbol.

Isabella gasped in horror as soon as she saw it.

“This can't mean anything good at all,” Tristan said, as he observed the carved symbol on the wall.

“When did this happen?” He asked.

“A few minutes ago,” Kael answered.

“Then we need to find out what this means and fast,” Isabella said.

Lyon then went on to tell them all about the visions, especially the one with the figure that had talked about the curse.

  • THE PURE ALPHA    The Peace is fragile

Lyon was walking through the gardens, trying to clear his head. It was morning and the early morning sun was out, its light shining brightly. The nice smell of the flowers filled the warm air and he could see children playing and having a good time. They were enjoying the peace and quietness.Everyone was going about their business of the day as usual and everything was normal as it was supposed to be. Only, he didn't feel normal. He should be at peace but he wasn't especially ever since he met Elora and they had that conversation. The visions…of destruction and the fact that he was connected to it gave him sleepless nights. He tried to figure out what ‘Curse’ the figure was talking about, as he didn't understand any of it. He had wanted to speak to his parents about it but decided not to. He didn't want to bother them, especially his father whose strength was failing as a result of the sacrifice and choice he made for him and the kingdom.Maybe he'd have to confide in his father's Be

  • THE PURE ALPHA    Tristan's worry as a result of his decline

Tristan sat by the window, looking outside and alone with his thoughts. They had been enjoying great peace in the werewolf kingdom for years now and though he would have loved to be stronger and healthier, he didn't have any regrets at all. He'll gladly do the same thing all over again. He hadn’t been the same ever since the battles and his ultimate sacrifice for his son and his kingdom. He had done it for his son to protect him from the darkness of their bloodline. The curse of the first Alpha. So the boy didn't have to go through all that he had gone through and he was glad for the peace that they now enjoyed.“Tristan?” he heard his name being called bringing him back to the present. He didn't need to turn to know it was Isabella. He smiled brightly as he turned around and saw her. She had been his support system through it all and their love had grown stronger by the minute despite the changes in him.“Hello mate,” she said smiling. “I've been looking everywhere for you.”“I've be

  • THE PURE ALPHA    Lyon Finds His Mate

Lyon needed some time by himself to think about the vision and the warning. Aside from Kael, he hadn't told any other person about it and it bothered him so much to know that there was a curse that could make him destroy everything. He thought they had broken every curse in his bloodline.Suddenly, he felt a pull drawing him towards the eastern part of the pack. He hadn't been to this part of the pack in a long time and he didn't know why he suddenly decided to go there footsteps and then he smelt her, she smelled of lavender and the pull was strong and when he saw her, it was a sif his heart stopped. And then she called him.“Lyon.”There was something about her voice. Even though it was soft, it seemed to carry a power that called out to him. She was tall and had eyes that seemed to see right through him. There was something about her, and just then it hit him. He had just found his mate.Lyon’s breath caught. No wonder she had felt familiar, like she was a part of him. Heat flooded

  • THE PURE ALPHA    The First Vision ( Five years later)

They had enjoyed peace for five whole years, everyone had almost forgotten what it felt like to be engaged in wars and battle for their survival but today, Lyon's heart has been filled with a kind of dread almost as if he could smell the storm in the air. He just stood pacing up and down the edge of the cliff. His thoughts everywhere, that sharp ache in his chest was there and all the feelings he usually had when the visions came. Though this time it was an entirely different feeling. The sky as usual had turned dark and the air was thick with tension and he knew something was coming.“Is everything okay?” he heard from behind, snapping him from his thoughts. He turned then and saw that it was his friend Kael. Kael was watching him, his eyes narrowed like he was trying to read his mind.“Hello Kael, I’m fine,” Lyon answered, “Just... have so much going on in here,” he said pointing a finger to his head.Over the years they had both built great friendship and Kael has come to unders

  • THE PURE ALPHA    A united and healed kingdom has begun.

It was a full moon and the sky was beautiful. Homes were finally filled with laughter, music and joyful conversations but underneath it all was the steady beat of something new, something totally different from all that they had known in the last few years. It was Peace.Lyon stood at the edge of the cliff where his first prophecy call had risen in his blood. The air smelt of a new life. It was strange, standing here without the pressure of ancient forces bearing down on him. But tonight as he stood there were no prophecies, no curses, no gods commanding his every move. Just their new promised healed werewolf kingdom. He closed his eyes and allowed himself to enjoy the calm.A voice interrupted the quiet. “You’re doing it again.”“What's that?” He asked as he smiled.“Returning to the place of your rebirth,” she said.“Is that how you always know where to find me?” Lyon asked.“Let's just say it's never easy to stay away from where you were reborn.”Lyon looked back at the valley, th

  • THE PURE ALPHA    Finally There's Peace

The forest breathed again. It no longer whispered of war or clung to the scent of blood. Where ashes once fell, flowers had begun to grow like even the land itself was learning to heal. The trees had begun to reclaim the space they’d lost, the rivers and the air, for the first time in generations, didn’t taste of fear. It tasted of life and of new beginnings. But peace was never silent, and rebuilding required so much more. At the edge of the restored stronghold, Lyon stood with his hands tucked behind his back, watching the walls rise stone by stone. Wolves of all ranks worked side by side, laying the foundation for something new. There were no commands, no titles spoken aloud. There was no hierarchy of control. There was only rhythm and unity. The work didn’t feel like labor, it felt like healing. Behind him, Isabella approached slowly, holding two cups. She didn't need to say anything. She knew the weight of silence better than anyone else.“I figured you wouldn’t remember to eat,

  • THE PURE ALPHA    The Calm After The Storm

The first sunrise felt foreign. Especially after everything they had been through. The wars, the betrayals, the battles they had fought separately and together as a united pack, they were witnessing the simple warmth of sunlight untouched by magic. The rivers that were filled with poison finally ran clear. The air, for the first time in generations, didn’t taste of fear. It was crisp, pure, and calm. It was the kind of morning that reminded the world that, even after everything had been torn apart, it could still heal. The war was over, but the wounds weren’t gone and peace, true peace, hadn’t come easy.Lyon woke up to silence. The morning light warmed his skin even as his body ached badly. The fight, everything had weakened him not just physically only but he ached to his bones. Almost as if he had lived for centuries. The room smelled of pure earth and clean air, the scent of the forest’s rebirth. He was back in the temple, the one the Moon Goddess had once entered, where so many f

  • THE PURE ALPHA    The Fulfillment of the Prophecy

The final night fell like a curtain. There were no stars, no moon. Just a sky thick with silence and the smell of something ancient being pulled from the earth.Lyon stood barefoot in the clearing. The wolves had formed a ring around him, Alphas, Betas, elders, the last of the Moonblood and Hollow lines. None of them spoke, None of them moved, although they didn’t need to.He was the light now.And the shadow had come for him.Tristan sat just outside the circle, his hand resting on Isabella’s. His body trembled from the effort it took just to stay upright. But he wouldn’t lie down. Not when his son faced the thing he couldn’t beat. Not when the prophecy had chosen Lyon instead of him.Isabella stared into the horizon, looking steady and calm despite the storm that was brewing in her.“There,” she pointed.A tremor rolled through the ground. Not a quake, just a breath. And then it stepped into the clearing. Not a beast, or a god but something between. It was the shape of a wolf, built
