CHAPTER 80

As soon as she exited the elevator, she actually sprinted to Sean's apartment. She came to a stop in front of his unit's door. She waited for her breathing to return to normal while gazing at the door. She twisted the lock slowly after a brief period of stillness. Sean said he left the door open.

She had earlier been anxious to confront the man. Her motions now seem to be moving slowly because she is aware that Sean is only inside. She was even more surprised when she took a peek inside and saw that it was just dimly lit. She walked right in. She moved slowly as she examined every corner.
