158. ARELI, THE DAUGHTER OF A GOD PART III

My arms extended, giving her away no matter how hard it was. They seemed to freak out themselves, all jumping around and making sure they had held her carefully. All eyes were concentrating and it had me smile because she had the family she deserved and more. They got over the large pool and slowly let go of her. It seemed to pain them, letting go. They stood at the edge, staring at the floating body only to cutely sigh. I knew they would die for her. I knew they would turn the world upside down for her. My head turned back, the father having the same expression.

“ I am so sorry.” I said.

 I did not even want to imagine the pain one goes through from losing their child.  It was something I wished on no one. We both stood as the body floated away.
