I swear time stopped that very moment. The universe stopped in its axis with my heart stopping. My hand came to my heart, laying there as it began rattling as if wanting to break free. I felt a sharp pain shoot through but it was pain of how shocked I was. My brain seemed to not function, closing my moist eyes to open them and as if to torture me even more, the person in the closet turned around, staring right at me and I don’t know how I did not pass out right there.

I thought my heart would kill me, it having gravitated up to my throat and choking me. My whole body heated up, my face as if to explode. No matter how much I blinked, she was still just standing there. Her hair was to her left shoulder, brushing it over and over again, it longer than I last saw her which seemed like a million years all at once.
