Amy arrived back at the pack during the wedding after being away for close to two weeks on an official assignment she was sent on by her grandfather. She was told that her grandfather, Elder Conri, was at the palace and she went to meet with him but found out that the Alpha was getting married to someone strange. “What is going on here?” she questioned her aide as they entered the palace and saw what was going on and the aide quickly replied that the Alpha was getting married to his former mate. “She must have been the wench he talked about” she muttered before moving to her seat where she also witnessed the wedding take place. One thing surprised her and that was all the dignitaries that came to grace her occasion. She was not sure why there were so many of them there and how they were related to her, but it was quite impressive that a traitor’s daughter had gained that much influence in the cause of two years. The elders were disturbed by what had happened at the wedding and knew that with the way those kings and Alphas turned up for Helena’s wedding and coronation ceremony, their chances of being able to impeach her without it backfiring has dropped to the bottom line. “How did she gather such personalities in just a span of two years that she was sent out of the pack? This is terrifying” the elder of the ninth tribe remarked, as he paced up and down in the meeting room. The elder of the seventh tribe didn’t hesitate to support the claim, he was also surprised about how she was able to influence such great people. “This is now beyond our control, I am not sure even the Alpha would be able to do anything like dethroning her at this point. I am very sure she had all these planned before coming here to make all these outrageous demands” he declared and others supported by either hitting the table or clapping their palms. “If we don’t act fast, I am afraid she will only become more rooted as

HELENA’S POV I marched to the reception room where the elder of the fourth tribe was waiting for me. I was prepared to give her the maximum problem if she comes with the mindset that half of the problems they have with me has been solved since they are done with the preparation for the separation ritual. Immediately I opened the door to the room, she stood up and bowed her head with her hands placed under her abdomen in respect which amazed me because that was the way of showing respect to the royals. I was not expecting any respect from the elders since they are all so bent on making my life a living hell before even impeaching me. “You are welcome, my Queen” she greeted, her head bowed to the lowest to show the grey hair split apart at the center of her head. Even though the greeting was uncomfortable, I was still entitled to it so I didn’t feel burdened that much for a long time. The next morning, Helena woke up with so much relief on her side where she was hurt and went straight to where her son, Jerry, was sleeping with Secretary Han. She had offered to help her pet him to sleep so she could relieve all the stresses she had passed through in the past few days. Since she had always been Jerry’s closest friend, he didn’t have any issues being comfortable with her and also sleeping soundly by her side. Helena bent a little forward, while being careful not to lean on broken ribs as she stroked the soft cheeks of her beautiful baby who only flinched at her touch before continuing his sweet sleep. “You are so cute, even when you are deep asleep and that is why you are my baby” she muttered, adoration filling her eyes as she stared continuously at him before Secretary Han spoke up. HELENA’S POV Throughout the day, I kept thinking about why Amy was in Draco’s bed, even though I didn’t make it obvious. She was laughing at me when I came because she had the upper hand in having his heart, I guess, but I found it more annoying than I thought I would. It’s not that I want Draco, but the thought of Amy being a nuisance to me just because she had crawled into his bed was infuriating. “Gosh! She’s annoying with her entire being” I muttered, pausing to puff out the air in my tensed lungs. Secretary Han went out to prepare for the ritual with the elders of the fourth tribe in order to monitor any strange activities they might have had in mind. Evening came and I was taken out of the palace to the clinic yard where the separation ritual would be taking place. The leader of the fourth tribe was already in her ritual robe, all her subordinates were also dressed and placed in their right positions. The elders had previously met without the consent of Elder Conri and Boris before the ritual took place. They came together to persuade the Elder of the fourth tribe who would be in charge of the ritual to mess with the ritual in order to rope Helena in a mess and that would provide an opportunity for them to oust her successfully. “I really cannot trust Elder Boris and Elder Conri now because they are wrapped in her trap. As long as their child is lying at the mercy of that shameless woman, they will not make a decision as an elder of the pack but as a parent”. The Elder of the seventh tribe raised his voice. The elders were first reluctant to respond to his claims, but after he carefully analyzed everything and how it was an insult to the pack that the daughter of the couple who murdered the previous Alpha is now married to the son, they started to think positively of his move. “So what do you want me to do?” the Elder of the fourth tribe asked, adjusting her seat. “What do you m

HELENA’S POV I didn’t flinch or feel afraid in the dark room even though the squeaking noises of my friends keeping me company on the cold floor was becoming annoying and disrupting my thoughts. I stood calm and collected in the prison cell while waiting for the decision of both the elders and the Alpha himself. One thing was certain, they would come searching for me sooner or later because the patients are at a very sensitive and critical stage but without me around to administer their required dosages, Secretary Han would never do that on my behalf and it will trigger the patients, sending them into a shock which should have been prevented if this didn’t happen. The elders’ voices were loud enough that I could hear faint noises from the walls of my new room. “Those creatures are fucking too loud for people who are incompetent” I muttered with a tired sigh, my eyes closing to get the sleep I have been deprived of for days. I actually fell asleep in that pigsty without minding the

The Elder of the seventh tribe got his face scratched by an angry Draco and was rushed to the infirmary where he would be treated, but he kept yelling at everyone not to touch him. The anger about his plans going down the drain and also being dropped by the other elders who didn’t come to his help was eating him up and no one needed to tell him that he had gotten on the bad side of Alpha Draco. “Why would you even do such a stupid thing? Why would you throw the whole Luna into the prison without the Alpha’s permission? Are you trying to get yourself killed?” His wife scolded him as she tended to his wound, but he wouldn’t have it. He flipped the water in the bowl in front of him in anger to protest. “Why would you call that traitor our Luna? You are one of the problems we have in this pack! That woman should not be putting on the crown of this pack for what she and her family members have done” he growled, and his wife, who was tired of his tantrum, threw the towel in her hand. “The
