CHAPTER 5: BROKEN

As Gabriella was in her room trying to wake up from the heartbreak she felt, she was sobbing silently posing her face down as she lay on the bed. She was so tired and heartbroken she didn't want anyone to notice her mood so she locked the door and decided to doze off. But sleep wasn't coming soon. She forced herself, but it wasn't working. She had a horrible day today, so it won't be nice for her to have any disturbance. 

“How can he do such a thing? Am I not good-looking to him? I admire him a lot, but he took me as if I were a nobody. It is as if nobody wants me, I would just have to leave at once and not walk to the school without any love or affection from anybody in the college ” Gabriella said to herself as her memory flashed back to the insult she got from Tony. 

Her mom entered her room due to how she acted previously. She was so worried about her daughter and decided to check on her. 

“Gabby what's the matter with you, why are you acting strange and why are tears coming out from your precious eye's” her mother said to her, leaving her hands on her back. 

She kept sobbing silently. She didn't want anyone to know how she was humiliated and embarrassed by Tony, so she decided to make her mother unaware of the incident that happened earlier. 

“It’s nothing okay mom. I just have some body pain that is why I am shedding tears'' she lied to her mother thinking she wouldn't know about it. 

“Gabby, my precious daughter, you can't be smarter than me, okay . I, personally, brought you to this world so you don't have to hide anything from me, okay , just tell me the problem. I am your mother who said, "A problem shared is a problem solved so don't be afraid to tell me anything”.

Gabby saw the curiosity in her mother's eyes. She thought of still hiding it away from her mother, but it was impossible because her mother was getting closer to knowing the secret to her tears, so she decided to open up to her mother. Her mother looked at her with a different look with the eagerness to know about her precious daughter. She nodded to her to signal to speak up. So Gabby took a deep breath to explain everything to her and the difficulty why she was crying. 

“When I was at school today I went through the stairs and mistakenly fell to the ground but unfortunately was held by one of the most gorgeous and handsome guys in the school. His name was Tony. Obviously, to me, he was from a wealthy and wealthy family. He held me and caught me. I was surprised to see it was him. He held me up and when I went to appreciate the good he did, I called him, but it was a negative try. He insulted me and embarrassed me by calling me all sorts of bad names, saying I was a pig and was brought up from a dustbin. Which broke me down so I had to rush back in tears” Gabby said, sobbing.

“In my inner looks, you are the most beautiful girl and lady I have seen recently. Why would he render insults on a beautiful goddess? Who would be this one man you are crushing on, hope it's a good one” Gabriella's mother said and stood up to take her leave!

“You don't have to cry all day my beautiful daughter, okay, just leave him and overlook him. One day, he would come crawling to your knees, and you would have him all to yourself, my dear” her mother said and left. 

Gabriella nodded in agreement. A few moments later, after her mother gave her some words of assurance, she left the room meanwhile Gabriella walked her to the door, allowing her to go out for her to lock the room up. 

Gabriella sat on her bed thinking about the way she was going to face Tony tomorrow. She was practicing seriously on how she would approach him. She gave so many attempts and tries, but she wouldn't even have the courage to face him face to face. Then she thought of going to him to ask him the cause of the embarrassment why he did what he did, but her tries were to no avail because she definitely knew she wouldn't summon the courage to face the fact she was only playing around. 

"Why is he always proud of himself? I know he is handsome but to me, I am one of the beautiful students in the high school. I don't understand why he must ignore me in all my actions. Why would he do such a thing to me despite all my trying to get his attention, yet he still plays stubbornly? I don't even know the next step to take to get him. What next would I do? I don't know any other thing. But maybe I would try going to him. He is still a human like me, not because he is handsome and from a rich family, but because I still like him. The way he carries himself is amazing to me, I must say he is my dream come true” Gabby said walking from one  corner to the other as she had finished her continuous tears. 

As she walked from one corner to the other, another good plan known to her flashed to her memories. To her, it was a good one, and she continuously stared at the edge of the wall as she was too surprised by her new plan, but she was frightened and anxious about what the outcome would be if he found out she was the one who did it so she was then double minded. 

“What if he finds out my plan, how would I explain to him about it, what would be the outcome? Why am I so anxious and so afraid of him? Who is he really? I must be bold and be strong to myself? I must defend myself anytime and anywhere. How can he be my dark side when I like him so much? I must find a good and perfect plan to place it and get him all to me” Gabby said courageously? But her thoughts were not working out for her because she was so frightened of what to do next, she didn't know how to take him. She was too frightened and anxious, but she had to do something to get him done fast. 

“I must go on with this plan I must do it this plan may work out for me maybe it wouldn't, but how would I be so courageous to do it myself I must call out a friend who would help me on my plan I must do it as possible I must” Gabby said to her self assuring?
