21: FIRST SHOPPING

“I think we need some stuffs here,” Eve said as she turned to Simon. Yet, instead of him, it was Lucas who was suddenly behind her. and he was blocking Simon with his proud chest.

Lifting her eyes, she glared at him. Yet, he didn’t seem to mind. He’s like a bug that kept following her, bothering her where every she goes.

Simon who was looking around the house he picked nodded in agreement. “You’re right. I actually rushed when I rented this so there aren’t many supplies yet. There aren’t even foods here…”

“Should we go shopping?” Lucas butted in, trying to steal her attention. And though he was succeeding, Eve getting annoyed of him.

“But people might recognize you!” Simon protested. And this time, he emerged behind Lucas as he held his shoulder.

Lucas shrugged. “Yeah. I’m so popularly hot that women might swarm over me once I got out.” His arrogance made Eve wanted to puke. So, to tease him, she pretended she was.

Lucas wasn’t affected by it. “Unfortunately for them,
